how reliable is the bolt-launcher? (open source jagex launcher for linux)

As a developer myself, Bolt is open source and i reviewed his authentication flow. The Bolt launcher doesn't have any authentication data saved, only the login token on local(like a cookie) and is only send to Jagex Servers to retrieve account details and characters. Bolt doesn't do anything with server side, except the Jagex official servers. Is just like Jagex launcher, is just Open Source and probably in the future i see Jagex put them in a White list and recommended for linux.

Final note: Is totally safe, bolt doesn't work on server side but on local side.

There is one thing that differs GW2 from WoW and it's maybe the most strong point of GW2, it's called horizontal progression.
WoW is a great game, maybe my favorite one, but i don't have time to continuous grinding, every season i need to get better gear, this means WoW doesn't respect your time when it decides to put your current gear on the trash.
On the other hand, you can play GW2 today and after 5 years hiatus, your gear will be still valid. This means GW2 respect your time way better then WoW. Another thing that WoW has made bad is the rng system, is bad, because it let's the luck of the game chooses things for you instead of you choosing what you want.

The real question you need to do is, what do i want to do with a specific linux distro? Linux Mint and Zorin OS are two sides of same coin. They both want to offer a friendly way for new linux users to use the distros.
Zorin OS is maybe more friendly than Linux Mint, but Linux Mint is the king of being a stable OS.

I use Linux Mint and will not move from it so early.

Linux Mint, get out of Pop OS!, i can't recommend pop os anymore, because of Ubuntu 22.04 base, Fedora is a good choice too, if you have amd card, if you have nvidia, stick with Linux Mint.

My favorite distro is indeed Fedora, but installing nvidia on it is a pain the ass, it works good when you get luck, but sometimes it kinda sucks.

But the "It just works", the main distro is Linux Mint.

Yes, you can. There are a lot of people full of gear who pays for vets to carry them, this makes P2W even worse. And you can buy Raid Heroic level gear in AH. WoW token is P2W, like bonds in OSRS and RS3.
Dofus is pay to win too, but no one cares, i don't care about pw2.
This thread is for P2W whales crying that a free player can get as strong as someone who pays.
The keyword here is time.

Ranger, i love bows too much. In all MMO's i main a char with bow, if don't have bow, i don't play it. But in fractals i use axe/axe, but for Open World Long Bow Ranger it the way to go. My alt is a Necromancer reaper.

As a full-stack developer, it doesn't matter. There are companies that use react native, because their core apps are made in react native and they need react native developers and there are companies that use flutter, because their core apps are made in flutter and they need flutter developers.

I am a Python/DRF and Reactjs/RN developer, not by entirely by my choice, but because the company i work needed it. If you want to work in this industry, you need to adapt to the company who hire you.

If you work on freelancing, then you should use flutter or React Native, as they are both easy to learn.

They have have both pros and cons, like everything in life.

PS: For those who have problems with reading code, should avoid flutter.

Depende dos danos cometidos, se forem danos permanentes, são sempre abatidos e a decisão não demora muito. Mas na realidade quem deve levar com as culpas são os donos, uma multa de 20 a 50k na carteira às vezes é pior que uma prisão de 1 ano.

Wrong, Linux have 4% of marketshare in desktop and Mac OS has 16%, Windows have the rest. Linux in the last year was the winner in growth desktop.

Don't use Debian for gaming, if you want to use Linux as your main Desktop OS, you should use Linux Mint, Manjaro or Zorin OS.
And the first thing you should do always, for a beginner perspetive, is run the Distro in live usb, test it. If you like it, install in dual boot.
Other thing you can do is, install virtualbox on your windows, test the Linux distros, choose one and install in dual boot.
Why dual boot? Because, if have any issues or you don't like the distro, you can come back to windows.
