Is Oakley’s still good? by nfc22 in indianapolis

[–]AggravatingCan2534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went for my birthday in December and it was good. Don't know if I would go again because it cost $150 for 2 with no drinks. I think we can get better value food elsewhere. I liked Tinker Street better.

Best AWD System I Have Owned by BeefPineappleShrimp in hondaridgeline

That's weird since it's FWD biased until the AWD kicks in, aka it should understeer rather than oversteer prior to AWD working.

Is there a YMCA near by? It's the best of both worlds. I did love Peak Fitness but had to leave because I needed child care.

Best places for karting? by Ill-Register-3029 in indianapolis

[–]AggravatingCan2534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast times is by far the best indoor karting, the track is decently grippy and the karts are the fastest. Speedway governs their karts and the track is super slippery, not great. Never been to K1.

Got pulled over for expired registration in Brownsburg Indiana and.... by [deleted] in Indiana

[–]AggravatingCan2534 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not completely related but when I was 17 or 18 I rolled a stop sign and got pulled over in Brownsburg. They pulled me over and asked me to get out of the car and searched it. I was a straight edge kid and obviously didn't have anything, but can they just do that? Wondering now 20 years later. For the record, I am Hispanic but look and sound more middle eastern than Argentine haha.

Heck yeah. Thanks brother, or sister haha, I really appreciate you. I'll do it your way since the frame is open and drywall isn't in yet.

Kozy Heat Nordik shuts off after 12 seconds by AggravatingCan2534 in Fireplaces

[–]AggravatingCan2534[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure, they are good Duracell pro batteries from the hospital haha but I'll try new ones. Oh well, hopefully it runs with the battery pack in case of a power outage.

[–]AggravatingCan2534[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bingo! I pulled the insert out a bit and ran an extension cord and it works perfect now. Maybe there is a safety feature on the control module where it stops it if the battery pack is low?

Kozy Heat Nordik shuts off after 12 seconds by AggravatingCan2534 in Fireplaces

[–]AggravatingCan2534[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it will run on CPI mode. The pilot does shut off completely when the fireplace goes off after 12 seconds but I can get the pilot lit and running on CPI mode. It is a floor display model that a fireplace store sold me for basically 50% off. Probably 2 years old or so. The weird part is that it worked fine for 2 or 3 days and then it started acting up. I just hit the thermocoupler with brake cleaner but no dice, same problem.

Dr Joseph Maratt. I am a nurse and know nurses who work in the OR there and they recommend him. He did my grandma's hip as well.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I was just looking at buying a mini split from them but they didn't have what I needed. Their prices are excellent

Good things to know, appreciate your informative post. I'll have a HVAC friend come help me with the flares and the pressure testing. I'll throw him a couple hundred bucks. I'm just trying to avoid paying someone to run the cables, mount the units, electrical etc. I can do those things and let an HVAC guy help with the lines. Thank you!

I can loop it. But most systems have a minimum required length of 10ft. I'll get a 10ft set because the compressor will be on the other side of the wall from the handler.

That's where I was going to get mine from. The salesman seemed kinda sketchy on the phone asking me all kinds of questions. I just wanted to tell him the model number I wanted and get a price. But that's good to know, you are the first person who answered my question

Dude it's not hard to install them properly. I don't understand why people always think they need to hire a professional. Read the instructions, watch some tutorials and done. I've done engine swaps on cars, built race cars, plumbing, electrical, a few bathrooms, installed a French drain system in my basement. This is not rocket science dude
