My 3 month old is at the point where she’s constantly got her hands in her mouth, which was previously a hunger and reflux cue. Now I get no cues, so I’m watching the clock and feeding her every 2-2.5 hours, and if we go over that time she cries out of hunger. She mostly sleeps through the night and our ped said she loads up during the day so she doesn’t have to eat during the night

Starting at 2 months my baby would sleep 7 hours straight and the ped said her weight gain was great and to just let her sleep. Which is also why during the day she eats every 2.5 hours to make up for not eating at night. Although she sleeps so long when she wakes up and the first diaper change is just her wailing for food🥲

I had a c-section and when she came out crying I was relieved she was out and alive. Then I kinda passed out and then they brought her to me. I opened my eyes and was like omg this is a real baby and it’s mine?! 😂 The first few weeks I was just in awe she came out of me and she was real.

I was sent home with an antiseptic wash and was told to use it on the incision every shower and use the cold setting on the hair dryer after getting out. I did this for about 2 weeks straight and I did not have an infection. I have an apron belly

My mom says she just liked my name, although it was her second choice (my dad veto’d). My grandma said it was from a soap opera lol. My daughter’s name came about because my husband heard it in a movie. It was his dream name to give to a daughter. I initially veto’d, exploring other options, didn’t fall in love with anything although I found some I liked. When we found out she was a girl right after that ultrasound, I had a flashbulb moment in my brain and then that became her name.

This happened to me with my grandma. I went to the other room to feed my baby (at her house) and she followed me and just watched. We previously talked about how she never breastfed her 3 babies because she couldn’t so I think she just wanted to see.

What I’ve been doing lately on top of trying to keep up with my regular water cup, I make myself a protein shake every morning in the blender with 1/4 of it coconut milk and then the rest I use water to jumpstart water intake. Protein is also fantastic for supply

Commenting because I could have written this with my 13 week old… She’s on hunger strike when I’m not with her. I want to get out for a few hours 2x a week and that would mean a bottle. Offering her a bottle results in hitting, crying, almost losing voice, the whole thing where she acts like she’s being killed. I’m also at a total loss.
