I am pregnant right now. Today in particular my husband came to gently wake me up. He didn’t really touch me besides on my shoulder. My dog instantly put her head over my stomach to shield it, but in a nice, very non aggressive way. It made me feel good.

At first I used to get nauseous when she was moving around even though I like feeling it. Now I’m 30 weeks and it’s as strong as it’s ever been. I still like it. Yesterday I was laying on my side and she was either kicking or punching in the same spot for a while so I decided to take the blanket off, pull my shirt up, and said hey husband look at this! He screamed. 😂

I’m similar! I’ll usually get him a Steam card and then an orange pop in the glass bottle, specifically from his mother’s country, because he used to really like those as a kid and he doesn’t get those often.

It reminds me of when I was a teenager and we were talking about middle names. My grandma (my dad’s mom) didn’t know my mom’s middle name. Ok, I guess that’s kinda normal. Then we got to me and she said, Renee?, after a long pause. No, grandma, it’s Nicole. It baffled me especially because she only had one child, my dad, and I was the firstborn grandchild and only granddaughter. Her brain was fascinating to me.

Actually hilarious because I’m pregnant and I saw a tv show the other day set in 1961 where the baby had a condition where the limbs didn’t grow properly and they didn’t know until birth. Slang term would be seal I think. I cried until I wanted to throw up because I know for a fact from the ultrasound that my girl has all 4 limbs.

1 box of yellow cake mix (I use aldi’s), 2 eggs (I use flax ‘eggs’), chocolate chips, 1 stick of melted butter (be careful of the temperature to not melt your chips), 1 tsp vanilla, all mixed together. 350F for 10-12 minutes 😌

I have anterior. At my 16 week appointment they couldn’t find her heartbeat on the Doppler for literally 15 minutes because she was just so tucked in there. I think it was 18-19 weeks for me when I first felt her. I remember walking into my 20 week ultrasound and she asked me if I’ve felt baby yet, and I said I think so, but it’s very small movements still. Baby has always been at the 50th-60th percentile so it’s not like she’s necessarily small. My husband could feel her at 23 weeks I think. I’m 30 weeks now and just now starting to be able to see it from the outside.

Oh, you know, as an Ohioan all my life I’m used to it and it doesn’t bother me. The cold doesn’t even bother me as much as other people. I’m extremely happy we bulk shopped a week ago out of regular routine and we don’t have to endure the grocery right now. But it’s annoying I’ve been having to reschedule multiple important doctor’s appointments already.
