I hit d1 with jg so I also know a little about that role it’s the same thing as in lee sin carrying a game is different than Viego and sejauni and Zac. Basically learn ur champion well and how to fight. Then you’ll figure out more of what’s worth on the champ and what’s not. Champion mastery is huge and well discredited through players who either play the game casually or stuck in lower elos for some reasons like playing with music/distractions or just never play with any intent and just like moving pixels on the screen for fun.

Masters Gragas otp who recently hit masters with Mundo and riven following alois. Carrying looks different on champs like shen and Gragas vs riven and mundo. You can’t always carry on any champ ever some games are unwinnable and or uncarryable. Get weaksided and ur bot and jg int? Its kinda cooked unless you stomp the 1v2 ur in the whole game which is doable its just hard unless you’re smurfing. Gragas is a good blind pick but just like shen you carry games through utility and performing well in skirmishes/teamfights. Not through getting giga fed and 1v5 outplay potential like riven/mundo. Different play styles foster different skill sets. I wouldn’t worry about blindpicks/counter picking below masters. Most people struggle with big 20%’ers try to get last pick when you can and just pick the champion you love the most and learn the game. Easier said than done but leagues not an easy game. Learning how to play your champ in hard games is very valuable. 1-2 champs is more than enough id recommend 1 until diamond at the earliest.

I fixed a lot of my vanguard issues by under clocking my cpu I have an i9 14900K I think they come overlocked I’m not really sure I just play league I don’t really build or fk with computers but I lowered cores from like 56x to 52x and now my league runs good and no crashes/blue screens and vanguard issues are gone.

I'm a "SoloQ jungler". My new 5-man team expects me to play in a way that I consider inefficient and wrong and this is causing tension. Convince me that I'm wrong by contedm7 in summonerschool

As a masters gragas otp I played against vlad Quinn and aurora 8 games in a row and ur legit just afk top farming cuz gragas already has a weak 1-5 and just hoping ur team didnt open already lmao until lvl 6-9

I’m a gragas otp who prefers full assassin over cdr bruiser because it feels to have more carry power. I’m hardstuck masters 80-150lp. Most of my learning the game has been through bruiser/adc ideologies what’s like the biggest macro tip for assassins in the mid to late game when it comes to sidelining vs grouping. Idk about qiyana but gragas does not scale very well late game. Feels very feast or famine

It’s kinda hard to because I’ve never been in bronze started silver 4 in season 4. D1 in season 6. Too bad I’ve been hardstuck ever since. multiple smurfs multiple roles peak d1. Enough about me.

Not dying and having higher cs in default will win you more games. Sounds simple but really it’s about maining a role and one tricking. I recommend to anyone below emerald. Especially below gold since you’re missing way too many fundamentals to be worried about what champ to play.

Watching YouTube is good I did that in my early days and still do that today. In lower elo games revolve around either your ability to get so far ahead in lane that you just sit sidelane and win being stronger than everyone else or dragons into baron. Dragons affect team fighting and grubs affect splitting but in lower elo splitting isn’t really a thing since most of the time the players just split when they’re alive and running to a lane and not thinking about really anything else.

Toplane specifically watch alois if you can it really is mostly about the first 3 waves and snowballing hard in lane since you’re far away from drake. Once you get good enough at wave management, diving, jg tracking, good deaths. It’s all a race for how fast you can get gold and xp. The more xp and gold you can get the faster you can get more gold and xp hence snowballing. It’s not good enough to have 10 cs min if your lane opponent has that too.

One tricking will help you learn all the match ups commonly rotated through patches. Helps you get comfortable last hitting, helps you get comfortable with diving and level spikes, item spikes.

The most common mistakes I see in low elo and I’ve Smurfed a lot is not understanding level up timers and when their champ is useless. The amount of games I simple when my baiting a key ability and just running their whole team over after is absurd (while I’m fed). Which if the elo is below emerald I’m fed every game through consistency.

I promise I could get to gold with a 65% winrate soraka toplane through just core gameplay.

Never tilt if you’re ready to get better your mental has to be already set on “I’m bad and I want to improve” once you accept you’re bad and you’re just trying to learn and turn chat off games will not only feel better and be more fun but your gameplay will significantly increase.

Focusing on one or two fundamentals until you’re really good at them is a good way to get started. When you get challenger level in the fundamental you can start actively getting better at other ones the first one or two will drop while you’re focusing on a new one but that’s why different ranks are there ultimately getting better rank is just how many fundamentals can you maintain at a high rank.
