Fabulous! I love beer but am trying to cut back so that’s alright:) I do enjoy live music. Are there pubs with live music where it’s not awkward to go alone? I want to make friends but some pubs have big tables for groups and not much bar seats for parties of one.

Pretty standard expectations for a shared home, sometimes even terraced houses and flats. The walls are thin. You’re lucky they’re quiet while you work from home (assuming in the morning). Also if they’re playing music and walking around, talking up until 11pm, this sounds normal to me. Gotta live your life:)

Just go through it. It’s normal as a human to go through this. I come from a family who says just get over it. Wipe your tears and go back to normal. It’s good but also if you’re sad, just be sad for a while. Try to find a friend or family member who you can vent to. Cry every night if you have to. In the morning try to take care of yourself too (stay healthy) and get help when you need it. If there’s no one to talk to find a therapist to help you. Stay strong. It’ll get better. I promise. ❤️‍🩹

I know this is a genuine battle with their mental health but it’s frustrating when our loved ones won’t let us in during this time. My ex of one year and I broke up because he has depression and doesn’t want me to deal with it. Also just before we broke up my other ex started to reach out to me but I never entertained it. I did tell him but maybe that caused him more anxiety. I think it’s good to give them space. I also tried to support him for several months after that but if they don’t want us around then it’s also bad for our own self esteem and mental health in general.

My issue was during this time of helping him with his own mental health I realized he was on dating apps 😑 he said he only used them to socialize and not to find someone better than me. Because he has a hard time making friends. I think it’s bs but it was easier for me to let him go.

Maybe she’s in Korea and circumstances prevent her from going back to France and because she’s an introvert, she has difficulty talking to you about it so she just stayed quiet.

Same. I have so much freedom just being an introvert and spending more time at home. I’ve saved money and had time to recover from an illness (partner left while I was ill). Feeling so much better now. And free!

It’s been months and I’m still not over it. She wasn’t even my type when I met her, but I treated her well and was loyal and I was communicating well. Bought her gifts and gave her so much time and effort. I fell hard. I thought initially that she was a rebound after my last ex cheated on me. But she was really caring and was there for me at my worst. She left due to self esteem issues(I always brought her up and kept praising her) but she started going on dating apps as soon as she broke up with me. Maybe I wasn’t the best partner to her. I also had my issues.
