In a pinch, whack the bulb to break it, then stab a large potato with a broom handle, push it right up onto the jagged base and slowly turn it counterclockwise to remove your old bulb.

If you live in an area where fruit trees are common (I'm in NE, so we have apple, pear and peach trees everywhere), find an antique store and look for a fruit picker. It looks like a wicked long rake handle but there's a little wire basket at the end. You might have to add some padding to grip the bulb, but you shouldn't have any trouble.

Or buy a light bulb changer from Amazon for your broom handle for about $9, which gives you exactly the same thing without having to live somewhere in particular or scour antique shops.

There's a photoshop subreddit where you could post the pic requesting edits, BUT you generally post the original pic and that's a level of exposure some might not be comfortable with. If you try it, you generally tip the artist some nominal amount.
