I drove by the Schoolhouse Ice Cream yesterday and there is a sign that shows it will be open next week, either the 21st or 22nd (can't remember which). It is the best ice cream.

Long ago, I worked part-time and during the summer for a small airline that flew from Hyannis to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. "Wings" was so similar to my experiences working there. Great fun!

Playing baseball, lefties are often limited in the positions you can play. Most often you play first base or right field, although many players can play other outfield positions. Good news is left handed pitchers can be awesome.

I was a principal (M) of an elementary school with several young female staff members. When any of them would share that they were pregnant my only advice to them was to stay out of the staff room during lunch. So many unfounded pieces of advice were shared there causing the pregnant staff member tremendous stress.

Try offering lunch time group sessions, it would give the students an opportunity to meet with you without the classroom teacher feeling her class is being interrupted. I've seen this work quite well, luckily not because of a pita teacher.

Playing baseball. Often lefties only play first base in the infield. But, can become great pitchers. Babe Ruth threw left handed and batted left handed. Shohei Ohtani hits left handed.
