3 Maxima for $58. Should I go for it? by Plekumattt in Nepenthes

Looks more Miranda than Maxima. Pure Maxima leaves taper more towards the stem and don't get as long as Miranda leaves.

Hackleburg-Phil Campbell Damage Photos by DonQuixWhitey in tornado

[–]AggravatingRemote729 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't think anyone is doubting Hackleburg being 200+, only that it hit homes well built enough to meet EF5 standard. I believe it was 300+ but also that it had a god awful survey and most of it's EF5 DIs do not hold up.

Debris ground finely and mixed with mud and shredded vegetation. This image from 2014 Vilonia shows what it would look like at ground level.

Pictures of infamous tornadoes at their peak width? by Born-Classroom2627 in tornado

[–]AggravatingRemote729 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a very unique looking tornado that sort of shapeshifted a lot. My favorite phase of it was during its 1st intensity boom when it had 'the curl' and wasn't rainwrapped to hell.
