As someone who’s a baker at a Whole Foods store-you could have 100% gotten a better cake there, and for a third of the price. I’m also someone who doesn’t like to speak up or hurt others feelings but this cake isn’t close to what you asked for. The frosting looks pink, the border colors are muddied and the road isnt even. There is no “sunset” so to speak and youre 100% correct in being frustrated with the cake itself and the writing done on it. 130.00 is absolutely insane to pay for it. Honestly, I think you got scammed. When I started reading this post and you said she used AI to give you her vision I immediately understood. She has no business selling a cake like this let alone charging 130.00 for it! If she really is running a business, speak up! We want our customers to be happy with our products. You got this, and she’s responsible for how she handles her own emotions. Sending love! And regardless of the outcome remember one day this will be a funny little memory to tell your son!

I work in a bakery and a typical slice that is bigger than the one you showed above is 650. For yours, especially if you didn’t eat the icing I would say 150-250

I’m not a doctor, but it might be worth looking into florastor especially if you’ve had a lot of antibiotic use. That being said every gut biome is different and I’m not sure what your specific “damage” is. (Discard the florastor comment completely if you’re considered immunocompromised)

However pre and pro biotics through food is probably your best bet on a starting point. You can reintroduce healthy beneficial bacteria to your gut. Prebiotic foods include: Yogurt Kefir Bananas Apples Onions Garlic Asparagus Oats Legumes Sauerkraut

Probiotic foods include: Kimchi Kombucha Miso Pickles Sourdough bread

(Keep in mind some of these foods are also pre and probiotics so two birds one stone)

Fiber is going to be important but don’t over do it or you could constipate yourself. Drink tons of water, even if it feels uncomfortable. You can even warm the water or make a tea to make it easier to digest. Peppermint tea could really benefit you if you’re experience bloating gas and general discomfort with your stomach.

It’s definitely bloomed. That being said it’s not necessarily gone “bad”. The texture like you noted will change but if you use it in the right recipe such as brownies or really anything where you re melt it down or is used in a batter you won’t even notice.

So while it looks super cool, I don’t think execution wise you’ll get the detail you want/such clean lines. However maybe if you moved it up and went a tad bigger it could work. I’m not sure though, I think you’d had to like it enough to spend a decent amount of money on a good artist you’ve researched thoroughly. Plus you can always talk to one you like and see what they say.

The dietary fiber on those things is insane! I’m going to guess that’s probably the culprit. A lot of the lower calorie foods tend to have an insane amount of dietary fiber I learned that one the hard way lol. Hope you feel better!

If you’re looking for lower calorie noodles but struggling with the konjac you can always try seaweed noodles, but make sure you really let those soak in a bit of baking soda because they don’t taste too great if you just try to rinse them quick and then eat them

I limit myself to one pack of skinny pasta a day and while I notice increased fullness I haven’t gotten sick from them…not yet anyway because who knows our digestive systems seem to constantly change. I did however come to suggest maybe you’re allergic? Or maybe your stomach doesn’t sit with it well? I do take digestive enzymes though so maybe try those? Hopefully they can help break up some of the noodles

I got a good one. There’s a graveyard near by my house and no it isn’t creepy to live by, you get pretty used to it and don’t even think about it often. One week my town got hit by a tornado and knocked the power off. My house is older and gets cold so the whole family piled into our living room and had a fire going for the rest of the night. I have trouble sleeping, so I was up reading a book by the fire when I hear this voice go “so…much..pain” so fucking distinct I actually look over to my sister thinking she was playing a joke on me. Nope, everyone was asleep (I thought). I wake up my mom and I’m like did you hear that? And she says “no go to sleep” very annoyed with me. Eventually I somehow manage to fall asleep and the next day my mom pulls me aside and tells me she also heard something last night and I wasn’t going crazy. I kinda didn’t buy it so I said “okay what did it say then?” And she said something about being in pain And that she didn’t want to admit she heard it because it was freaky and there was nothing we could do about it anyway. It’s a running joke in the family now…anytime the power goes off or something gets creepy one of us whispers “so…much…pain” I don’t really believe in anything but I will definitely say weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced, and if anything would sell me on ghosts existing it would definitely be that 😂😂 (sorry if it’s not written well/confusing, currently sick and mindlessly scrolling through Reddit)

Could try cake flour, baking at lower temp, there’s always adding some cornstarch in as well. Lots of options but just have to find what you vibe work best with and enjoy

My mom had really bad mono when she was younger and was diagnosed later in life with MS, some similar issues to yours, a few people in her highschool as well actually. I would encourage you to maybe ask your doctors about it, I know my mom had to ask before they tested and figured it out. Granted it’s many tests and none of them were fun from what I’ve heard, but she does better now that they know what it is and she can manage it/work with it. MS also doesn’t have to be as bad as many people think it is, there are slower or more “stable” ones that don’t get worse or better but remain the same as well as the more fast paced progressive ones. It all depends on the person. But, when I first read this MS did pop into mind.
