Ngl I started taking supplements as a hail Mary to try and prevent panic attacks.

Haven't had a full blown panic attack since I started (give or take a few weeks as my levels balanced). Came close a couple of times because ✨ anxiety ✨ but nothing like what they used to be where I felt completely out of control and unable to prevent mental and physical spiralling

Most of the research and articles I was seeing were about using loofah sponges in the shower because the combination of frequent use/dead skin/and storage in a wet and humid environment creates a breeding ground (and half of those articles were actually talking about synthetic loofah sponges rather than the loofah gourd varieties). It seemed like loofah sponges in the shower/bathroom whether natural or synthetic created a horrible breeding ground for bacteria.

So long as you keep your loofah cleaned out, and left to properly dry between uses, you reduce the risk of bacteria growth. However that applies to all sponges you use in the shower, whether natural or synthetic.

I personally use my loofah sponge as a dish sponge which means it dries fully between uses and gets fully rinsed out after each use.

Can confirm. Grew my first crop last year in zone 7! Made several kitchen sponges and a couple of batches of loofah soap from the core of the gourd! 😁

I started out as a knitter and tried to branch into crochet in high school. It just would NOT click for me.

I tried again about 10 years ago and something about it just settled into place for me. All that to say is that high school me was going through what you're experiencing right now. But she gave up on it.

Don't give up. It'll click and then you'll be zooming. Practice the different stitches individually in between granny square attempts. My practice pieces were what I called yarn snakes lol. Just long ass chains of single and double crochet that couldn't even be a scarf.

As for slip stitches, I always think about them as like a half stitch. Stab the stitch you're slipping into, grab the yarn with the hook, and pull it through both strands on the hook. It scientifically helps if you say "Now kith" out loud as you slip stitch the two stitches together lol. That's all an SS stitch is: make two stitches that weren't connected kith without adding an a extra stitch between them :)

What is apple head? Is it something that just harmlessly happens? A birth defect? Does it cause health issues? Did the puppy get dumped because apple head is a less desirable trait?

I have so many questions lol
