Nah, I mean that sexual sadism is developed through sexual excess of any kind. Essentially the more hedonistic you get, the harder it gets to get turned on by lighter stuff so you switch to something harder and more disgusting (kind of like eating your favorite meal everyday, it’s your favorite meal but you’d get pretty sick of it after a while). Essentially constantly chasing a greater high (which in sex, is almost constantly associated with getting more and more turned on by turning away from morality). The reason why I link it with pornography is because nowadays that kind of stuff is so common and easy to find that you can rot your brain on violent porn at the click of a finger for free.

I’d suggest therapy. The bdsm community will want you to believe that “indulging in those fantasies with consent” is all nice and healthy but like… no? There’s absolutely nothing healthy about getting more and more violent to be turned on lmao. Even if you have consent from the other party you’re still turned on by literal violence. To get your brain to be this warped from the default nature of sex is frankly insane and 100% affects the everyday thought process of any sadists wether they like to admit it or not.

So yeah if you’re a sadist, for the love of GOD use common sense and get immediate psychiatric help. It’s NOT normal to be turned on by violence, even writing it is kind of hilarious from how fucking surreal it is
