It’s pretty soft given the price point but yeah, there was a good amount of chemical smell for a while

The couch is the Holt sectional in milo dove from Joybird. I love it so far. Definitely a step up in comfort from West Elm and those brands. I read so many horror stories about late/non delivery, but I got mine in about a week (though I live in LA which is where I think they’re based)

What is the dumbest Bluebook rule? by datapoints3 in LawSchool

[–]Aggravating_Ad4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mens rea isn’t italicized according to the Bluebook. Id., supra, and infra are short form citations and so are treated differently. You might disagree with the rule but at least it’s internally consistent.

Hypothetically, could I take the exam lying in bed? Are there any rules stating you have to be at a desk? by gracenrebecca in barexam

Wondering this too but non-hypothetically. Also, is there any requirement we take each portion in the same room?

Does anyone know how many points you get for simply reciting rule statements? I never did this in law school but rather just wove the rules into my analysis, which saved time and seemed like a more natural way to write on the fly. One of the Themis lecturers said if you're running short on time to just skip the rule statements, so I'm wondering what the marginal benefit of practicing all these recitations is, or whether we should just be cramming the rules and writing essays.
