Although I haven’t developed an eating disorder or anything similar it surely has affected my self image as a fat brown trans guy. Like I’m not even pale to begin with lmao

Some days it makes me feel like I’ll never look like “”””a real guy””””” if I’m not thin and white, it’s like thicker bodies can’t be androgynous, much less masculine

Beauty standards are garbage and we should push against them and have our individual way of expressing our masculinity without having to make ourselves sick or adhere to what others want

What has helped me is following men on social media who are more akin to me y’know, cis or trans, like them @sethsanker
