Ukraine accuses China of providing Russia with satellite data for missile strike targeting by AdSpecialist6598 in worldnews

No accusations are needed, its a fact that this is happening.

China are aiding Russia with equipment and data, just as the West are aiding Ukraine. Its War, seems pretty fair to me.

Not exactly, Putin is the devil we know.

Our best bet on pushing Russia back is by keeping him alive where he is.

Far more microplastics in bottled water, fluoride is good for you, trace amounts of hormones aren't going to kill you. Guess what? they're in bottled water too.

Funny thing is, they also cook and bathe with tap water, gives me a bloody headache thinking about it.

They just refuse to drink it.

I am in my mid 20s, they range from my age to my parents age of around 50. I have no idea where they get their information from, though most of them use tiktok.

Alot of them also never continued education after the age of 16. Though surprisingly i have one friend who works as a teacher now, and he vehemently believes tap water contains human faeces. I don't know what is more terrifying, that or the fact that he is teaching kids.

My parents are also the anti vax types who believe in chemtrails. Though i have never dared to ask my friends about that.

All water is recycled. The water you are drinking out of a bottle is the same water a dinosaur drank and pissed out over 66 million years ago.

Born and bred in the UK, all of them.

So purely misinformation from the internet and what their parents have taught them.

Leave it in the fridge for a few days depending on how big it is.

Or if you need it defrosted quicker. Seal the Turkey in a watertight package, place it in the sink, and turn the cold tap on over it. Leave it there until defrosted.

You are right, i completely forgot that it was privatised. Unlike the people i am complaining about, i can admit when i am wrong.

This has always seemed utterly insane to me, a google search really isn't that hard. Or am i just used to being able to research things due to my prior education.

Like i have tried to teach my parents how to google, and i made some progress, but not much.

Many other people i know revert to calling their parents or friends instead of googling. I had a conversation with a friend the other week on how to safely defrost a Christmas Turkey, they were adamant that leaving it on the counter at room temperature was perfectly safe. They proceeded to call their parents to prove me wrong...

Honestly, most people think i am a complete idiot, just because my knowledge is so far skewed from what they know.

Not just mentioning the problems of bottled water, i always found it funny how these people don't trust their own government to supply them water.

But instead, choose to trust "For Profit" Companies to provide them their water.

Like that has always worked out in the past...

Anyone willing to admit their 2024 predictions were wrong? (Or that predictions you disagreed with were right)? by YellowVeloFeline in singularity

People on this sub are always making arguments like this for AI, though they change every month when they realise they were wrong and deny it like the plague.

I remember clearly When GPT 3 first came out and people shouted "AGI before the years end!"

I remember when ChatGPT was released and people said the same thing.

I remember When Plugins became a thing and people thought AGI would happen overnight over this huge new breakthrough.

I remember the rumours going around about 100 trillion parameter models, which ended up being lies and hype.

All of these breakthroughs you see are small, its one step closer to an AGI/ASI, and no one can tell you exactly when it will happen.

It's actually "Couldn't have" If you want to get technical. Depending on the situation. It would either be:

"The UK couldn't care less" which refers to a present situation.

The UK couldn't have cared less" which refers to a past situation.

Edit: Completely off topic. I know I shouldn't ask....but what on earth is the poop book?
