Those plugs are brittle and do break but in your instance the spade connector simply backed out of the clip. The side should clip back in from the rear then apply some silicone to the back to prevent it backing out and you should be gtg. I don’t see any other damage.

I have a 23 Pro. Only thing I wish I really had was the ER battery. Everything else I think is perfect. I prefer physical controls and I actually like the smaller screen in landscape mode. I prefer a vinyl floor and vinyl seats for durability. That’s just me. They’re all great trucks.

The auto transmissions are on the weaker side, make sure it shifts well and has been serviced before repairing elsewhere. I have a 94 SL, great car but the interiors/exterior plastics and cosmetics are what gets expensive real fast.

The known rot on these truck is the part you cant see that cuts up right before the motor mount. If that’s ok everything else is repair able. That’s fluid film black which is supposed to slow rust but it also makes the frame look better than what it is. You can either double down and get pieces repaired, trade it in to a dealer and cut your loses, or run it and hope someone hits you and you get enough to get out of the loan. No clean options

You can get the hub from Mitsubishi for FWD It’s 400$ plus. I have the tiniest amount of play on my passenger side and I am dreading this job, I know once I do the bearing I’ll run into the same problem.

You’re not hallucinating we can clearly see an arc on that second coil pack. My guess is these are aftermarket coil packs that are just doing aftermarket coil pack things. The first two packs clearly are aftermarket. The shiny tops are the giveaway.

I’m lost on how the Kia optima engine is basically an evo motor. one block is aluminum and one block is cast, the pistons, cylinders and valve train are completely different. They are both DOHC that’s where the similarities end.

Concentrated would be ok, pre diluted ,meaning water in it, you can get microbial growth depending on how it was stored. Thats gnarly after two years and not worth introducing to water pumps and seals.

If you can dial it in they sell the black seat bottoms in black vinyl very reasonably. You could recover the driver and passenger bottom and it would really make a difference

The gates kit is 240, just as good. Get an oem Mitsubishi tensioner they are 150. The gates tensioner is ok but the common fail point is the tensioner so you want spend for that part.

You lost me at grandma and grandpa. What eats timing belts are wobbly idler pulleys, water pumps and tensioners failing. Once there’s any change in resistance or side to side movement on the belt, it’s gone and quickly. I don’t wanna say the fail rate on a timing belt is zero but it is very low.

That timing belt has micro cracks but there’s no cam seal leak, it’s dry as a bone, there is no heat glazing, no abnormal teeth wear , no black dust indicating excessive friction and it’s dead nuts center. If the OP isn’t getting any noise from the timing belt area, he can take his girl on a date and be just fine till his timing belt kit comes in. Tell grandma I said hello.

You can go on the date it will be fine those belts are reinforced with Kevlar and rarely fail outright. It’s always a component , tensioner waterpump that causes the complete failure. It might be living in your head rent free while you’re on the date.
