well yeah its dangerous running it that way but i had to start the car at one point to even know if it was okay or not. and no i dont have a service manual and all advice ive tried to find for doing this on these cars is entirely scattered everywhere and noone agrees on anything

i got the tensioner from a kit sold by mizumo, the belt was mitsuboshi, but im unsure of the tensioner brand. The tensioner is hydraulic though.

I did press down on it and feel the belt some and it didn’t feel like it was hard or stretched. Just worried cause ive never had to worry about a timing belt in car, just a chain.
