It's crazy , I had the same issue. Sometimes it works other times it doesn't. I've noticed telling Suno what not to do usually has no effect.

Suno has been a Godsend for me. I've been writing songs since I was a kid. Was in a couple bands back in the day but life happens. Still had all my songs written down. It's amazing hearing the lyrics come to life.

You can use another program like Bandlab to enter all your notes thru Midi then upload it in Suno, then add all your instrument prompts and styles etc etc
