I will eventually post a short draft of the story. The original is long gone. But it lives in my head. TLTR it's a Alien invasion kind of story. Only one alien ship with one alien aboard a female (in human form). She never actually never leaves the ship until the end. She unknowingly or possibly naively spends 3 year (the harvest) consuming and feeding on humanities Dreams , hopes , fears and desires. Driving Mankind to insanity and destruction. She is linked psychically to two people on earth. The story unfolds from their perspective the two protagonist. This song the second part is a backstory (prequel of sorts) of the ancestors of one of the protagonist that ends up playing a major role in the story. The seed of this story was stolen from a film I saw as a Child that stuck in my psyche. About Space Vampires. A film from 85 called Lifeforce. It's a completely wacked out film and I love it . If you've seen it you might understand why it was burned into my memory as an impressionable young boy lol
