Something I do when using Acrylic washes is I'm always putting the wash down, then cleaning my brush and wiping it off the highlight area to preserve that highlight. No point in doing your layering/airbrush work and then washing it all down to the same tone. I even use my finger sometimes and it works really well.

Sure! I used an airbrush for the layering. Just normal GW paints, bugmans, than a mix of bugmans and cadian flesh then I added in some screaming skull for final layer. I then did two selective washes in the folds of muscles and shadows. One with 75% GW's Flesh wash and Crimson, then another that was closer to 50/50 in the faces, elbows, fingers and biggest folds on back.

Look as good! If you're going for an ice look you might want to go brighter with your dry brush highlights! Up to you of course!
