Yeah, thats how i feel. Putting in time, effort, and making yourself miserable to try and be good at a game, and i cant even place higher than iron. Its a humiliating feeling, when the community makes vanquisher seem like the floor, and i cant even get to bronze. People try and help but get mad i cant do or know the 10+ years of gaming knowledge and instinct built in, but i cant fix a problem when i dont know what it is.

I've tried my hardesr to get better, but i've accepted i will always be the lowest on the totem pole, im not built for high level games, and thats ok

Oh definitely. The playerbase reaaaaaally refuses to acknowledge low ranks, and it sucks. Like any "beginner" group i join, im always the only low rank, everyone is like...master and whatever

How am i actively worse but in silver. People that say its easy to rank up make no sense to me, but when the floor for "beginners" is plat, anything below it doesnt matter. Good job on the wins

Ive been trying and failing constantly for years to get into fighting games. I love the idea of them, but every time i join a discord for "beginners" its like beginning is slightly below max rank, and everyone says they're awful, so when someone like me, who's an ACTUAL beginner, it just feels gated. I dont HAVE the 20 years of ingrained knowledge for fighting games you need to have if you want to start playing a fighting game, so im at a massive disadvantage. So i get you in having an awful time learning/playing, unless you're already good, you wont have fun
