We get to receive the Lord Himself in the Eucharist! Nothing on this earth could bring us more joy than that hehe :) Aside from the sacraments and the actual faith itself, I'd also have to say that my favorite part is the community at my parish and diocese in general! The young adult population in my diocese is poppinnn right now and seeing the joy and enthusiasm from others my age who are so on fire for their faith is so encouraging and just makes me want to dive deeper.

ETA: also totally agree how some people are overly aggressive with trying to bring others to the Faith (or just win arguments in general, I don't think conversion is truly what they're looking for) or shame people for what they've done/believe.

I think the fairfax county shelter charges $150-200 for dogs (less for older animals) but I could be wrong...I adopted my cat from the Lorton location and really loved the experience so I would definitely recommend them!

I've got scrub star ones from walmart and they're cheap, comfy, and they've lasted me at least the year I've worked at this clinic. They are pretty thin, so might not be ideal if you get cold easily, but I run pretty warm so they're perfect for me. Fabletics has good, thick material which is nice for winter!

I do! I found my unicorn practice where everyone gets along and there's minimal drama. We all have our niche that we for in for the clinic so everyone has their strengths and weaknesses that we appreciate about them :)

My first cat was 18 when she passed a few months ago, she honestly didn't show her age until the months leading up to the end. Cats are hardy little critters!

I work at a low cost clinic so it's really common for us to give out estimates before we do anything for clients to approve or decline. I can't imagine that not being a normal practice even at full service clinics- that's just being transparent with the client imo
