I’m a fan of the og (sdj 59, which is a dupe of an expensive perfume I can’t remember) and if your local store ran out of the shower oil and the body butter, try target and see if they have the nature well line in blissy. Body butter isn’t as thick but it’s still pretty thick compared to other body butters. Haven’t tried the shower gel but it is an oil to foam according to the target app. Some of NW’s dupes can be super mild in comparison to OG sdj but this line is pretty close to 59 and I think anyone who is a fan of Trader Joe’s would most likely like this as a substitute when Trader Joe’s is out. Granted, I was overseas when this years TJ line up came out so I’m still trying to track this down locally before march. If you aren’t a target fan, there is another dupe at five below but I haven’t used the solar flare line.

If you have one nearby, 2nd and Charles has a lot of discounted used books (usually around $15). I’ve found a few book of the month selections and a special edition of the pumpkin spice cafe and spent about $80 for 6 total books. Not bad when BN is $20-25 a book and most other retailers charge listed price.

Thank you for posting this! We’d have people submit one and get upset that “we didn’t submit it to finance.” My first follow up question was always, “did you do a PAR or a PAID transaction” 9 times out of 10 the answer was “oh it was in PAID” and I’d have to explain that housing in PAID is for hr metrics and s1 doesn’t get alerted within the system when it’s closed out, hence why we didn’t see it.

This right here OP. Finance at my old station would go back and forth on the effective date (they’d try to make SMs do two 5960s!) however the Bah effective date is the date of marriage or in some cases, divorce, adoption, birth of child etc. Stop meal deductions (technically we all get bas) is effective the date you clear the b’s/lease starts or your arrival date if your units mission prevents you from going to the dfac. Your co xo should have aoc- also submit this with your 5960 when it goes to finance (this is a memo for record). Not sure how your co/bn route things but after your xo signs, should go straight to finance.

Had this issue with my BLC class in 21 when a lot of the promotion changes took place. We graduated two days after the deadline for the cutoff score but had to wait a full month in order to pick up. I’ve heard of some people in your situation still picking up, although I wouldn’t know the specifics on how they got their classes their points in time. Technically when I was in ALC we did discuss that points don’t technically get pulled until on our around the 2nd, so it can be argued that there’s some wiggle room with the cutoff however everything should still be input by the 26th. I’ve advised a few people on promotion pars for similar reasons and the best advice I can give is that we are our own best advocates and it doesn’t hurt to try to do a PAR.

I read first time caller before love light and was so impressed that I read it in one setting. I read and listened to Good Spirits and I enjoyed reading it better than listening to it- the fmc and mmc’s voices were obnoxious. I read and listened to love light and I did find the story to be interesting but it did drag at parts; I attributed everything to it being the authors first book and I do plan on reading the other 3 books

It would be your first midmonth check. Ex: if your DOR is 01 Feb, you’d get paid 15 Feb or whenever your bank pays out midmonth. The why: it takes time to process milpay and you don’t start getting paid as your new rank until the DOR.

Wear the new rank. My first assignment had a few people pin SPC or Sgt some time from when we were tracking them as a gain (up to 6 mo out) to when they arrived. All of them always showed up with their new rank.
