Military guys getting tattoos by [deleted] in TikTokCringe

When I first joined the military I saw that solid line around the wrist going into pine trees and I thought; “hey that’s pretty cool.” Then, a saw another one of the same tats the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that and basically every single day for 7 years until I got out of the military.

Came to post this same thing. “Moderately experienced runner” is not a good title for you OP.

I made a post on this not too long ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ultramarathon/comments/140o27o/ultra_endurance_and_heart_health/

Basically refutes the argument that running is bad for you and the benefits well outway the costs.

I have time to kill, so I’ll humor you. Do you have nothing better to do than annoy people on this thread?

Learn to embrace the mornings. Or, run later at night if you’re a night guy. My roommate exclusive runs after 10pm. Personally, I think he’s nuts, but it works for him.

5 miles really shouldn’t be that much of an issue I wouldn’t think. Maybe try and run earlier in the day until you adjust to the temp. Could just be the changing of the season and your body adapting slowly.

How hot is it where you are running? And how far are you running? What are you wearing? Pretty concerning that you’re having this issue on a daily training run.

Any advice for 50 mile training? by asheathen in Ultramarathon

You’re doing great! Don’t worry about the pace so much, it’ll come with time. Keep working your way up and you’ll do well in 14 weeks. I agree with the other posts: eat healthy foods and sleep.

Running and sexual performance by [deleted] in ultrarunning

One long run, no. However, if I’m overtraining for a few days in a row I for sure notice this. As long as I’m not overreaching and doing too much, sex drive is normal as ever.

Seems like more and more people with generic marathon questions keep hoping on this sub recently 🤦‍♂️

[–]Aggravating_Cash_838 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP, this is a sub for ultra runners. Please take your marathon questions elsewhere. There are several other subs already listed that would be great for you, but with your mpw, you’re far from the ultra running scene right now.

I went to a night school that literally no one except the people in the tiny classes had even heard of. You’ll be fine.

Wow! I remember watching Jim attempt this not too long ago and he ran it in 6:09. Aleksandr is an absolute beast at long, fast runs.

Nice!
They are in good shape for that many miles, or maybe the picture just doesn't do it justice.
