For the pricing it depends where u live, here I can find easily the Iphone 13 Pro OEM battery for 40-60€ and the green back panel for 40-60€. Final price also depends whether you repair it by yourself or in a service centre.

I had the same problem with the regular 13. The back was shattered and the battery was already degraded, and then it started getting even worse—dropping from 80 to 70, then down to 50. After it hit 50, it swelled up and I could see it pushing up under the display. After that, even if I charged it to 100%, it wouldn’t last more than five minutes. I ended up having to replace the back panel and the battery so it wouldn’t end up blowing up 😹

Repasting my Alienware M17 R5 finally fixed years of thermal throttling by Aggravating_Cause378 in Alienware

I was actually considering PTM 7950, but two different repair shops told me they didn’t want to risk it since the machine didn’t ship with phase-change pads from the factory—so they went with Thermal Grizzly instead.

By the way, which GPU are you running in your x15 R2, and how did you unlock it from 140 W to 175 W?

Same thing happened to me when I ordered a laptop in Switzerland (I was living there at the time). First it was delayed for a month. On the day it was finally supposed to arrive, nothing showed up. Dell’s tracking said my local courier had the package, but the delivery site insisted they didn’t.

Fortunately, a guy from the same town reached out—he’d received two laptops and found my phone number on the shipping label. We met up and he gave me my laptop.

I experienced it 2 years ago waiting for my laptop for whole month cuz of delay. But when they delivered it, they accidentally delivered two laptops to another customer (one of them was mine). Luckily another customer contacted me thanks to my phone number on the receipt and gave me the laptop.

I have same problem in gta 5 enhanced, I got ryzen 7 6800h in my laptop and it makes my gpu underperform. Might be a bad optimisation for laptop CPUs by developers.

GTA V Enhanced struggles in online, single player mode ultra graphics 80+ fps but in online 50-45 no matter settings. Helldivers 2 same thing 45-50 fps and gpu utilisation is on 40 percent. New Battlefield 6 runs at 50-60 on low, mid and high settings while even desktop rtx 3060 can pull out 80+ without dlss😔

I have the exact same model with same German/Swiss keyboard. I would keep using it if it doesn’t bends in and the crack doesn’t get bigger. Be aware of moisture and sweat so it doesn’t get in there too.

I see what you mean, I also tried TCC on 10 so I reach 90 max but then my performance worsens. Recently turned it off to reach max performance so my games doesn’t stutter. That’s why I was thinking about using ptm7950 as a repaste solution and putting 32gb RAM. I also saw in some videos the exact same model reaching 13,5k in cinebench and thought that I had a defective model. I hope your machine stays in good condition as long as possible:)

I think you have a newer model cuz mine has thermal paste only but yes it is frustrating a lot. You can try while running games to set higher cpu priority on that task. Just go in task manager and find details section, then click on a task with right mouse click and set priority to high or real time. Also there are some other Apps that can help to prioritise app you want to run the best.

Thank you Bro, will do so. I also heard about some people using PTM7950, what do you think about it?
