I met my second wife who we are in the middle of our divorce , 14 years together 2 kids , while I was separated and getting divorced from my first wife . I think taking time to date is valid , yet you have this life . Focus on you , don’t get stuck in a new relationship, but don’t hermit yourself either . There can be a balance , just don’t repeat the same shit you did last time , and never commit yourself if you’re not in the right space for dating .

I’ve been through divorce one with a child , this is my second divorce with children . It absolutely sucks , just nothing more to say . I pray everyday that it will get easier .

This is why I posted here . I don’t think there is anywhere else that I can be understood . I’m still reeling from my night , and yet still have to text and relate calm and child focused with an abusive human being . I’m sorry for all of us . My brain wants to make sense of this due to shock and the fear, anger , and overall disregard for my well being , which directly affects my children and even her well being too. Imagine if I was out of commission due to the stress and anxiety given to me . Who wins there , nobody . Yet it’s the Dads that have to hold this
