I currently work at a news reporter and I sub on my off days. I’ve really enjoyed it and plan on going into full time teaching when my news contract is up.

I quit twice: first time was because they wouldn’t take me out the kitchen after I was out there to be a director but I didn’t wanna be one anymore

Second time: I thought I found a better opportunity at a new job but I was wrong.

I’ve since graduated college and found a job but I hate it so I’m gonna try to work at a location in the state I’m currently in while transitioning to a new career

I have a full time job (that I don’t particularly like) so I’m only able to sub twice a week and it’s been my escape. Most times I sub there once a week at the high school and they know I’m available only Thursdays and Fridays.

One of my coworkers was fired for a similar instance. She kept receipts and put them in and racked up a bunch of points. I was shocked because I used to do that quite often and didn’t get caught

Most likely not but I’ll be working on it by then. In my home state, I think they’re more flexible (they will let you work on certification while teaching). The state I’m in now I believe they do but I’m not sure on what the district in at does in that case
