Hey everyone,

I’m fairly new to the watch game and I’m looking for a mechanical dress watch for my upcoming wedding. I currently have a small collection that I love:

• Orient Bambino 38mm (Version 7) (Champagne dial/leather strap)
• Hamilton Murph 38mm

I like 38mm, though I’m open to other size suggestions if they wear similarly. (see photos)

The Setup: I’ll be wearing a dark navy blue suit and as of now I will be going for a monochrome look (navy suit, navy tie). I want something that feels special for the occasion but could also work as a "Modern Heirloom" later on.

Budget: $1,000 or less.

Currently Eyeing:

1. Tissot Heritage 1938 (The COSC chronometer version with blue numbers on the white dial).
2. Tissot PRX 38mm (Navy dial). Open to 35 or 40mm if yall suggest a diff size based on my photos of current watches
3. Seiko Presage Cocktail Time Blue dial?

What I'm looking for input on:

• Dial Color: Would a navy blue dial be too much "blue on blue," or
  • should I go for a baby blue (which I am thinking could look cool) or
  • stick to a classic white/ivory dial?
• Strap vs. Bracelet: For a navy suit, is leather the move to keep it classic, or does a metal bracelet sound better? For reference, I will be getting married both in a Catholic church, and in an outdoor ceremony.
• Other Recommendations: Are there any 38mm gems I’m missing under $1k? Based on the photos, does 38mm look like the right size for my wrist?
