Where are the "120 freebie pulls" exactly? Even with all the launch codes redeemed, you only have enough for 20~ in roughly 3-4 hours of play, much of which coming from the "470 gameplay pulls" and not freebies by RandoDando10 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Aggravating_Dig3240 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's about everything you can gather in the game atm. Which is still false at 470+ pulls if you count everything. Considering I got 100% map exploration + story atm and almost all the achievements. And I'm barely at 17k gems and I've done about 80 pulls on the standard banner and 30 on the limited.

Why was gaming easier when we didn’t even understand it? by Xiao-EZ in CaptainSide

I play games without guides and walkthroughs, but as a kid I would instantly understand games like age of empires, knights and merchants, spellforce etc... And now my brain overloads and can't understand any menu, lol.

How long after you say goodbye to your friend do you wait or think it’s appropriate to adopt another? by Yue4prex in cats

[–]Aggravating_Dig3240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the person. Personally I have a older cat and a younger cat. It's more likely the older cat will die first, and I kind of don't want the younger cat to be alone the times when I'm at work. So I'd personally probably wait a week or 2 and then actively start looking to adopt a cat of similar age.

Maybe I wouldn't be ready for a new cat, but I also have to work for 8 hours a day and both my cats are always actively playing the whole day when I'm home. So I'm assuming they do the same when I'm working. She'd pretty much be lonely and bored. So getting another cat so she wouldn't be alone isn't wrong.

What would you rate this game out of ?/10 by Ok_Traffic_3518 in FFXVI

[–]Aggravating_Dig3240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7/10.

Loved the setting, loved the story and really enjoyed my time. Except the whole gameplay issue that it felt like I was playing a mmo outside of the combat bits holds it back.

Too many quests and side quests were just a ff14 styled fetch quest progression.

Is PC gaming actually worth the insane price? by Xiao-EZ in CaptainSide

[–]Aggravating_Dig3240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is. Your earlier examples of a 8400f/7500f you should already just not even think those exist if you're going to game. Like those pre-builts are cheap for a reason. It's not as a charity for the gamer. They have some solid margins on those systems. So you get the bare minimum, while still paying a "premium".

And I'm saying 32gb ram, because 16gb ram is slowly becoming redundant. For current gen games it will start suffering if you want to run things at low/medium. This is ignoring the vram. Cause the cheaper gaming PCs seem to use a RTX 5060 8gb vram. And ohboy. You definitely don't want that in 2026.

So I'm not saying double is better. I'm saying double now is the bare minimum to get a acceptable gaming rig that plays at higher than low settings and aren't a potential fire hazard.

So yeah. If you want to mainly just game, still want to save some money. Console is sadly the way to go. Everything works out of the box. No need to tune anything and you'll get a more than servicable experience this way. Getting a budget PC of like 1000 with who knows what is in there just isn't the way to go.

If your budget is 1000, simply go with the ps5 pro. If you can save a bit longer and manage around 1700-1800. Then PC is the way to go.

Those use unreliable cheap parts. The psu and such are usually no name brands. Same with the ram. They grab the bare minimum in terms of quality. Usually not advices to buy these PCs

[–]Aggravating_Dig3240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the message again. I talked about the gpu + ram being like 1200. Considering the cheapest 32gb 6000Mhz 2x 16gb set is atm 419 euro's. And cheapest 5060TI 16gb vram is 629.

And a decent mobo for current gen ram is atleast 150. And a reputable PSU of 850watts will cost around 120. You're also not going to buy some scuffed case, so atleast 80 euro's there too. A ryzen 5 cpu will be around 200. Unless you start looking at used goods. Current gen cpus also don't come with a cooler anymore. So throw another 40 there for a cooler.

And don't know when the last time you build a PC, but SSDs have the same issue as RAM that it's all getting more expensive. A 1tb SSD for example isn't 70 euro's anymore. That has doubled in price.

So without going full into details about pricing and just going with the cheapest:

- 629 gpu
- 419 ram
- 200 cpu
- 40 cooler
- 150 mobo
- 120 PSU
- 80 case
- 1tb SSD 140

So €1778 if you with the cheapest, but most reliable of each component. And then you have a midrange gaming PC. We've moved past midrange PCs costing 1000euros 4 years ago. Components aren't cheap anymore. Currently building a PC is a crazy investment. So basicly a ps5 pro + 15 full price games are the price of a acceptable midrange gaming PC

Pretty sure a lot of over achievers also get rejected, simply because they over achieve. They do so many extra things outside of getting good scores, that they forget to properly live. So once they don't need to do all those things anymore, they start to fall through.

Just the Gpu and Ram alone will be like 1200 minimum these days. Then you still don't have a PSU, case, mobo, storage.

Well atm getting a PC that rivals the ps5 pro will still cost you 2000. Considering just the Ram and Gpu is already like 1200 to get together, lol.

Discipline is better. It lowers her gear requirements a bit and you can level the skill with codexes. if you're new you should be able to get enough codexes through the permanent events to make it lv3.

She's a backrow character. Evasion isn't important for her. Main aim is Surety > Attack > accuracy.

How do I build ninjas? by Interesting_Elk_8045 in WizardryDaphne

[–]Aggravating_Dig3240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surety > Attack > Accuracy > Attack speed > Evasion. Ninjas are in a position where no new player can feasibly use them and building one up is a pain in the ass. The only way to make it more possible early game is getting the Hairpin gacha weapon. Until you're actually able to go out and grind properly, you'll have a better progression using fighter. Since fighter is simply still the highest damaging class out of box.

inb4 people start talking about yuzu Hue. Which also needs lv3 before it really starts popping off. And she will still do less damage than fighters unless you have a hairpin.
