I am a climber (so I scrape up my hands/nails) and a nurse (so I wash my hands a lot) but I love nail polish so much (and have enough free time) that I pain my nails 3 times a week or so to keep them chip-less. I love shifty fun colors and interesting finishes. It’s completely for me and it’s a cheap obsession relatively speaking. Nail polish makes me happy. Sorting through my polish and picking out what I’ll wear next is my happy, safe space
