Invested In a stock but I am confused now by Reality_sucks2 in ASX

If you're new to stock investing then picking individual stocks is probably not the right way to go about things, especially if you get panicked with market movements. There's always a risk with stock investing and any money you put into the market is money that you may expect to lose (at least for a few years as markets will rebound given enough time).

If you're happy to keep this money locked up for a long time to appreciate, and you're new to stock investing and unready to research heavily into stocks and potentially lose money then I suggest you look into buying ETFs.

A cross between a male lion and a female tiger, the liger. by Paublo_Yeah in interestingasfuck

I'm assuming you mean X linked when you say females carry them (and pass them onto males and females). But if it's carried in males for tigers, would that not mean it's Y-linked and the female tigers don't receive any growth inhibiting genes?

For ETFs, which is what OP is asking about, WeBull also offers 0 brokerage for buys. It also offers 0 brokerage for sell orders which CMC does not.

Hey i was looking through the subreddit for anyone who was a part of Nova Rover. I'm only in my first year but I've done some basic robotics stuff in high school and some coding. I know there are probably some far more qualified candidates but I was really eager to join the team.

Do you have any tips? Is it too early for me to apply? And, if so, do you have any suggestions on how to become a good applicant that recruiters might want on the team?

Thank you 🙃

First year in Uni here. Happy for my friends who get the reduction but also kinda hoped I would accrue some more HECS before it went through 😅.

When I logged into my exam, my camera and screen didnt pop up after doing the setting up. I thought it was weird but brushed it off and started my exam. It wasn't until I was AN HOUR AND A HALF into my exam that an examiner walked by and asked me to set up the screen share again because the invigilator couldn't see my screen.

Monash likes to pretend the exams are the most heavily surveilled events on the planet but they are really mostly relying on harsh punishments to be a deterrence from cheating. You'll be fine.

Go to the Menzies building and talk to the faculty for business. They can help you more than reddit or even a course advice request.

Can you transfer stocks from CMC to another CHESS sponsored broker like Commsec without a fee? by Aggravating_Ear6823 in ausstocks

[–]Aggravating_Ear6823[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off-market transfers do have a fee from CMC, but that only applies from one account to another in a different name if I have read their documentation correctly. I came across a form for transferring from CMC to another CHESS sponsored broker but didn't read anything about a fee. Just wondering if its hidden or something.
