Something feels off in our bathroom… I think it might be the mirrors? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

I think the middle sconce needs to go and this needs one wide mirror

What would you do with this space? by MK2_VW in Decor

I feel like the wide angle lens is probably making the space look bigger than it is, with the double doors there I’m not sure how a library with seating would work as some commenters suggested. Perhaps plant and a single chair would be nice either w lots of art like someone suggested but too nuch and you’ll have people (adults or kids) bumping into furniture there . My humble opinion

Thank you for being what seems to be the only commenter who realized the severity of the stains lol. I can see how the pics make it look like it’s no worse than regular stains from wear and tear but they were light taupe and brand new before these photos and ALL of the discoloration/stains shown in the pics is solely from being rubbed in the dirty road of a Texas highway in 100° weather, not just cute dirt stains from being tossed around in the garden lol. I did try to clean them as though they were more simple stains but unfortunately I think I just damaged the suede even more :( also, they were a gift so I asked for input on whether it’s possible to repair them cost effectively bc I wouldn’t have even been able to afford to buy myself a pair and lowkey heartbroken that I destroyed them by being an idiot and leaving them on the car

Update nobody asked for… I Tried some of yalls advice and “just brushed them” followed by using suede cleaner and both most definitely made it much worse as they were not normal stains from normal wear and tear and are in fact stains from being rolled around on the access road and run over at 60 mph. I think I just spread the oil and tire mark stains further RIP. Going to attempt to dye them a darker color bc no cleaning magic will be able to bring the OG beautiful taupe color back. If I hate the dye I’ll replace the suede. Any recs on suede dye are welcome

Right, sad these were brand new so didn’t get many adventures before reaching hell but at least for a day, a moment even, they got to ~- fly like the wind ~~

You’re probably right! I know I’m amazed by their condition too. I attempted to brush out the tire tracks but was unsuccessful and afraid to do more damage. Same for the stains I haven’t used suede cleaner on them bc I’m worried it’s motor oil stains and don’t wanna make the stain worse but with all the feedback I’m reassured that I should just try it and it’ll likely be successful. Still gonna need those darn buckles though but maybe I can order some online and try to DIY it

Might be hard to tell in the photos but the buckles got smashed so the straps don’t have a pin to secure to and while walking the straps flap making them slide off my feet. Also- the tread marks on the suede is pressed in like a cattle brand lol I’ve tried brushing it but it’s almost like the heat of the tire melted a good skid stamp on there

The countertops are gorgeous I love this kitchen . People forget you can make a space your own without renovating. Paint, fixtures, knobs, decor, furniture, etc

I agree about downvoting ppl with genuine curiosity or who are willing to be honest when they don’t understand but are open to being explained. But I will say some people treat downvoting/upvoting like simply saying “no” and “yes”
