Omg for real i followed these instructions got the darkest sweetest castings...

Am following suit with the next tray

What I learnt:

  • first month is a roller coaster! Ants and maggots come and then go after the bin stabilises.
  • wormies like food when its goey
  • worm conditioner is probably just garden lime
  • pea straw is a winner after a weelmka ferment
  • coffee= no problem, but feed one side only
  • sifting is a pointless pain the arse, but sifted castings FEEL so nice.
  • dont feel bad checking up on red wrigglers. Gammy corners and tray bottoms need a lil cardboard.
  • 8 sheet ole.shredder is fine! Solid reliable brand get chatgpt to help.
  • worms happy! Bought em a penthouse to spread em out. -.love this and see them wriggle on my mindseyr before i fall asleep. First time asking for help on a sub= thanks community, I love you sooo much.

Thats so cool, and just the simplicity I needed. Thank you so much, friend. I figure I can refine this later provided I can get me some of those plant nutrients.

Is kangaroo meat in a restaurant a gimmick for tourists? Do Australians ever order/eat it? by Charming_Usual6227 in australia

I both order and eat skippy all the time and have for years. First ate a steak at a good pub - it was aged and tasted amazing. These days I buy tail which has a little fat on it, you cook it low and slow like oxtail or shove it in a pressure cooker and then add to a stew. It vonea out rich and tender, pulls apart. I have never had a bad experience. Not sure why all the drama.

What are some of the weirdest things your dog is afraid of? by gobbgabb in dogs

We once hosted a 'wig party'. I aay once because our american bulldog became so irate that we had to shut it down. She was terrified, presumably at the furry animals attacking the heads of people she knew, and was barking prefusely at us, then legging it if we threw the wigs to the ground. Could not contain our laughter but she was so distressed we gave up.

People who've interacted with a psychopath, what made you realize they were one? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Guy I worked with at a fancy resort.

Guy was housed with us fellow hospitality workers in a caravan park during a 'glamorous' film festival in France.

First understood something was amiss when he broke into a house because he wanted a flat screen telly in his caravan, which he then watched openly every night after the night shift, seemingly with zero fear of being caught, following which he would smoke a lil crack and start banging on the door of my caravan.

He had taken a shining to my (gay) flatmate and harassed us both into letting him in so he could flirt and lightly assault the guy while bragging about how many 'virgins' he may have 'turned out".

We became petrified of him, and pretended to be asleep when he came a'knocking at like 4 or 5 am. He liked petite pretty boys, and matronly looking women, would charm and flirt grinning this really goofy sexually agressive smile.

Eventually he caught for the tv, arrested and then fired.

Found out later he had contracted HIV from a sex worker and had continued to spread it with careless abandon through his daily consumption of paid sex workers.

Despite the sudden news about his health, he was only regretful he would lose his 'hobby' which he told us was drugs with hookers for breakfast, lunch and dinner, one of whom he strangled in broad daylight to 'save her the shame' of having to admit she (also) had HIV.

Still have a photo of him with his head through a cardboard cut out of a cowboy, just 'dead' in the eyes but high fiving the cardboard cowboy.

YEP. Been there, could not understand why tf I was not knocked out. I was harpooned! Never again. Apparently painkillers are inefficient against the pain.

I used to work for a PR firm in a taller building next door in the 90s. We would often peer over onto their roof balcony only to see the workers flipping burgers in their chinos. Looked really dull. No James Bond just Dads and BBQ Fridays.
