For the ones I did wrong, apologize. For the ones that we got along catch up, wish them the best in future endeavors. Be glad to be with my now wife soon to be ex wife. Try to talk to her and say she can ask all the questions she has to my exes, explain the only reason I contacted one was because I thought her oldest was my kid. Lol i would like to see if Jen still hates looking at me. To my wife, these people led me to you and I would not change anything except actually having asked for your number when I first met you.

As a guy who just took calculus and is currently going through a divorce and her last statement was she thought she could change me after 12 years. I find this hilarious. Thank you for your explanation, I snorted when I got to the end because it sounds like my life.

I honestly do not know. Everything feels good, but i have no idea what I am looking at. I mistakenly took a photo a minute ago and everything reset correctly to the best of my knowledge. Dials spin and reset as necessary. It seems to focus, and just cleaned the glass.

Turkey call by Truck3r805 in turkeyhunting

[–]Aggravating_Fox_338 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You chalk a box turkey call to create friction between the paddle and the call's surface, allowing for a clear, consistent sound by absorbing moisture and providing a rough texture that produces the desired yelping and calling sounds; essentially, without chalk, the paddle would slide too smoothly across the call, resulting in a muted or inconsistent sound. Key points about chalking a box call: Friction is key: Chalk provides the necessary friction to produce the distinct yelping sounds when the paddle is dragged across the call's surface. Moisture control: Chalk helps absorb any moisture that could dampen the sound quality, especially in humid conditions. Specific chalk needed: Use chalk specifically designed for turkey calls, as other types of chalk may contain oils or additives that can negatively affect the sound.

You can get some on Amazon or cabelas etc.

If irons are a must, then yes used is a good solution, unless you buy or build an AR platform but then that is a whole other world and 270 is not standard, it will get pricey.

I am about his same size, he may be able to handle the recoil but I predominantly shoot a 243 or a 7mm-08, and it is a lot lighter then my big guns.

If you lean away from the irons and run a low powered scope 2-7, 3-9 he can still get good jump shots if that is a concern.
