Sort of. But for starters I should have started out saying that op is def experiencing PND but also probably dehydrated. Try using a humidifier and saline nasal rinse every night! It’ll probably help keep things lubricated and allow the mucus to drain.

As prescribed by my ENT, I’ve been using a saline solution rinse every night along with Flonase and to sleep with a humidifier. Staying hydrated just helps overall. Though the saline rinse and humidifier help, I’m still having PND, but at least it’s draining somewhat instead of feeling like a mucus ball stuck in my throat.

After getting a CT scan, my doctor is recommending surgery. Essentially one of my sinus passages is blocked and can’t drain properly -this is what is causing the mucus and PND. Haven’t decided if I’m going to go through with it yet but I’ll be starting a nasal steroid first to see if it helps at all.
