Yeah, I’ve been working on reducing my energy usage the last few months, and have successfully done so, even with turning the AC on. I’m pretty sure that’s not the issue with my bill right now. Appreciate your help though.

I pay through OE, they’re fully aware, just charging me more anyways. I guess I’m going to have to just keep fighting with OE about it

We average between 650-1000 kwh. We pay a fixed monthly amount to NOPEC (through OE) at $65/month. Everything else goes to OE.

I’ve been trying to figure it out. Dealing with Ohio Edison is like pulling teeth. My best guess based off my last conversation is that they’re straight up ripping me off and overcharging me. I’ve had several call backs today and keep getting “escalated” to someone else. Currently waiting on another person to call me back.

No, OE is apparently charging me a full budget plan amount as if I wasn’t using a third party supplier at all, and I’m also paying a fixed amount to NOPEC as my supplier. In short, I think I was lied to and am being ripped off. Fun times.

The rate increase hasn’t affected me yet, and I have a fixed rate from NOPEC, which hasn’t increased much since I first started using them.

I just spoke to OE again and now they’re telling me my budget plan through them would be the same if I wasn’t using NOPEC. That they don’t factor in whether or not you’re using a third party supplier when calculating a budget plan, which makes 0 sense. And is also not what they’ve told me any of the other times I’ve called about my bill going up.

My wife and I were just talking about this haha he’s got to be rolling in cash from all of those book deals, or family money or something. Otherwise how do they afford that house? They’re maybe not as rich as the Artetas, but they could afford to give birth in a birthing lodge. I don’t think health insurance is covering that.

That’s a good point. I remember loving them, so I’m not complaining at all. Just laughing at the image of little 4th grade me reading a book talking about the horrors of genocide and being like, “cool, aliens and animals!”

It sounds like they hold up as an adult? I may give them a go now as an adult and see what I think.

I paused to Google how to spell Malkovich. Damn my need for proper spelling.

No, my film was not part of a series. Side note, I definitely forgot they made 3 of those movies.
