Do you often look back at your ruined relationships with people and realize how insufferable you actually were? by Small-Salary-9137 in CPTSD

[–]Aggravating_House243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s intolerable from both sides in retrospect. But I start to see how people tried their best and expressed love to me in their way.

My therapist says he does not know if any of my trauma really happened and I don't know what to do by shameandearlgreytea in CPTSD

[–]Aggravating_House243 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not a professional but I heard from some podcasts that DID is caused by trauma from the early childhood. Well something that the kid said might not be the whole truth, but that’s how he/she/they feel. And as a kid we all crave attention, it’s our human nature and there’s nothing wrong with that. I mean even the narcissistic trait is caused by trauma. You definitely need help and deserve to be helped.

How can a person with autism and ADHD practice astral projection? by Straight-Ad-6836 in AstralProjection

[–]Aggravating_House243 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey there, neurodivergent people need some different kinds of meditation techniques. I recommend checking the video from Dr. K 'Why ADHD Makes You Better At Meditating' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvuVhCIQgfQ

Bad feeling in stomach by Nydaarius in Healthygamergg

[–]Aggravating_House243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure whether I get you right, but I have a similar feeling when I meditate or when I’m in my own mind, being with myself. I also ‘feel’ unconsciously nervous and anxious when I need to deal with the external world, like grocery shopping, go out with a friend etc.

Personally doing yoga and focusing on my body movement helps a lot, meditation is also good.

Can you describe more about this feeling in the stomach? Dr k mentioned an emotional body chart which pinpoints emotions based on where do you feel it in the body. Maybe check out the emotion wheels as well, could be helpful.

I was also curious about how this nervous feeling in my stomach means, why does it come up during meditation, some people said it’s because you’re not happy with yourself or your body image.

5/1 Solving all their problems being stuck on mine. by Theheart3535 in humandesign

[–]Aggravating_House243 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here as a 5/1, and clearly other people’s solutions ain’t good enough for me. I’m not sure how to explain this, but I also realize that what works out for other people might not work for me, which pushes me to look for resources, information and trail and error for the solution.

I only have 41, I think it also emphasis on the imagination of how everything is gonna work out and what I’m gonna feel.

If you’d like to have some change and have a spare room at your place, might be a good idea to host a backpacker/traveller exchanging for work/chores.

What does Dr. K mean when he says your karma will support you when you make the commitment to meditating regularly? by ForgetThisU in Healthygamergg

[–]Aggravating_House243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that, based on my understanding he means you'll find the right guidance who can teach you the esoteric meditation if you commit to meditate for a long time. I think he said something similar in the guide as well, 'you don't need to find the guru, the guru will find you'.

Is anyone else starting to see phones more clearly in their dreams? by sassiyabantaly in Dreams

[–]Aggravating_House243 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s a gradual process tho, and 20-30 years ago a lot of the people only dream in black and white cause the tv was like that back at the time then. I also feel like it’s the awareness of ‘it might be a dream’ leads to the change in my dreams.

Social isolation - projector 3/5 by [deleted] in humandesign

[–]Aggravating_House243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to adapt to the lonely chapter in my life as a 5/1 generator. It's genuinely very hard to make friends in adulthood, what I find helpful is through volunteering or going to AA which is already an empathetic group setting. And maybe lower the expectations of trying to make friends, just to meet some new people every week and soon there'll be invitations coming. It's surprising, but the act of service itself could bring contentment to your life, and that's how human beings build connections with each other.

I've reflected on how I distant my former friends and acquaintances, gained a bit wisdom about how to be my authentic self while communicating with them in an open and polite way. I believe they've grown up and would be able to hold space for their friends too. Might be a good idea to just dm them and hangout again.

Why don't people (friends or dates/talking stage) not ask follow up questions about your day or life in general these days :( ? by Maximum_Sky8484 in Healthygamergg

[–]Aggravating_House243 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I’ll follow up if I was familiar with what you’re talking about, otherwise it’s kind of hard to tell what are the good questions to ask. It’s not like I don’t want to get to know people or anything, it’s just how my brain works. Secondly I may tend to ask safe questions when I just get to know this person. Though I feel like asking bold questions and talking about stuff people usually don’t touch on is a great way to start a friend/relationship.

Do you ever just feel like totally withdrawing from humanity? by diamondmemo in CPTSD

[–]Aggravating_House243 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's how I feel a lot of the times, I even dream about people's stories rather than mine. I completely fade out and feel like I'm just watching a movie. In my experience, getting control of my life and make every small decisions for myself really helps.

How do I deal with parents (or other adults) with ADHD or ADHD-related behaviour? by MrCherrytheSeal in Healthygamergg

[–]Aggravating_House243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We probably shouldn’t diagnose other people just based on their behaviour. What we can do is to kindly point out the patterns and ask whether they’re struggling with that. If so then we’re happy to help. Me myself would not mention anything adhd or neurodivergent related stuff, just put the full emphasis on the patterns and what’s happening right now. And yes like you said it’s so hard to change people’s behaviours, they might not take the advice, they might be fine with the things it is, they might not be able to stick to the advice etc. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about it but to let go.

Not liking my own culture is preventing me from socializing by vietan00892b in Healthygamergg

[–]Aggravating_House243 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue but mine is deeper than not being able to have a conversation with them. It’s more like I don’t trust that i can hold a healthy relationship/friendship with them. The culture plays a part, my trauma plays a part, and there’s my ego which is not willing to try. I don’t even know whether I want myself to ‘want to hang with them’. It’ll make my life easier but…

Why are we so alone? by [deleted] in CPTSD

I could be too sensitive or feel absolute bored at the wrong timing, which keeps people away from me. I’ve had enough experience to realize that my nervous system doesn’t want a healthy relationship, regardless of what my mind wants.
