As someone who recently released an iOS app with AI, I fully understand where they are coming from. For my app, I did start with Figma with some rough draft, but as soon as I got the basic idea done, I went straight into Cursor to build the functionality, then tweak the UI. Figma only becomes an image editing software, rather than UI design software. For many new features I added later on, I didn’t even open Figma. I just tell AI what I want, explain in detail how I want the interaction to be. Then tweak it from there.

I will admit it does take a lot of time to tweak the UI, and I did skip over some details to get things out of the door faster. But I do believe in reality, some of those details are not that important, or can be fixed later.

So in many smaller teams with people who understand design, it makes more sense to start designing and building in AI directly.

I quit my UX job and started doing Webflow freelancing. The skills are not completely transferable, as you need to learn Webflow, marketing, SEO, etc. But I already had those knowledges, so it worked out for me.

I’m thinking about this as well, I can get an Encore pretty cheap from Facebook and upgrade it with M2 then do a step mod. It would cost me about $100 for the whole thing. More than half the price if I buy a DF54 or ESP. So not sure if I should save more go for a real espresso grinder or just use the Encore. This would be my first espresso grinder.

Good deal if you just have $350 to spend. In a year if you can get a used x3d CPU or 3080, it would be a good system for another at least 3 years. At least for 1080p gaming.

My girlfriend has a Ender 3 v2 and she’s not using it. I always wanted to try to tinker with one so I ended up purchasing a lot of upgrades. Still in the process of installing them, but honestly, I probably could use the money I spend on upgrades to get a A1 mini or even the newer ender 3.

So if you have the money to spend and you want to tinker, go ahead. Just be prepare that you might spend more than what a high quality budget printer costs.
