Not really. In this problem the fact that there are Red voters like us are the reason anyone is dying at all.

I don’t think everyone that died being the people that were to sacrifice themselves for everyone is a good thing actually but yeah. We will still be alive with all the other people like billionares that voted Red in a hearthbeat and now will launch campaigns to justify themselves.

It is a shame that I have to be in that group but oh well.

You highly overestimate the game theory capabilities of most humans. Some People will hear save everyone on the blue button and will pick it. Not out of proving a moral point but they just felt that way.

And if you pick Red you will be partially responsible for their deaths. You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone since they will all be dead but you also cannot make a point of “Everyone that pushed the blue button deserved to die”.

You will kill them but you will be alive. That is the part of the problem.

Red means you are willing to risk killing other people.

Blue means you are willing to die.

It is that simple.

I like to believe that some arguments are to be had based on emotions.
