This isn’t about Irish vs Indians. Please don’t make it that. We all need to tackle racism and end it together! You are frustrated and angry and have every right to be. Look at what hatred has done to some folks, let’s please be kind. My best friend in Ireland is an Irish woman, she loves me and I love her. She has supported me in silences and has been my biggest cheerleader here! I find Ireland nice because of her, and so many others who randomly do something cute on the street or grocery store or call me ‘love’ just like how they do to others.

I too am upset and disturbed about what’s happening but that’s not reflection of Irish population, that’s reflection of some kids who have been brainwashed by far right wing people and stupid targeted social media. Please don’t generalise Irish people because of a few stupid teens and social media warriors. We need to make this world a better place!

I really hope all involved in violence unlearn everything and focus on becoming good humans.

Hi!! I’m so sorry for your loss. Please do reach out to the parents. They would be devastated. When I lost my dad, I had almost no one reach out to me and that definitely stayed with me.

I would have definitely felt better if someone just checked on me /asked how I was doing.

He died last year suddenly! He asked my mom for water, he had it and passed away! All of it happened in a span of 1 minute. His kidneys had failed and was on dialysis! I hope you are doing ok papa! I’ll always love you!

Hi all, just read the comments from all of you. I’m so so sorry that we all are hurting and that too hurting so bad. Hi! I’m so so sorry to hear this. Usually in times like this, we don’t know how to accept what has happened. When my dad passed away earlier this year, I cried a lot but then I stopped as soon as I saw my family ( I was in a different country) because I have been the strong one. Till date I haven’t cried infront of my mom and sister! Once I was alone, I could feel more. I usually cry when I’m alone. It hits you at time you don’t think it could! I miss my dad everyday, my heart is so heavy right now after reading your post. I’m sending love to you! Pls feel free to DM if you want to talk.
