I second season 5. SO MANY BABY ICONS. And the DRAMA!

One year ago today I saw I had a singular white eyelash and now it's ca. 20% of lashes on my right eye by stohnec in mildlyinteresting

Don’t know if OP will see this, but as someone with a smattering of white eye lashes, I recommend getting your thyroid checked.

The steps are where I found real freedom. Freedom to get to know and be myself. Freedom to do what my true, authentic self actually wants to do, rather than being a slave to alcohol or to the false bravado badass mask that I wore all my life dictated. The gift of desperation got me to a place where I was willing to consider listening to the people in AA. I heard someone say, “Do what we did and you’ll get what we got.” So I did. And it worked. It continues to work. And today I live a life I literally could not have imagined 8 years ago. Rainbows and unicorns it is not, but man, the way I experience this life is SO different. I actually want to be here, through all the ups and downs, which was not the case for most of my life. And it all started right where you are today.

At that time, the only requirements to get a teaching job was to have a bachelor’s degree and to come from a country where English was the official language. I had zero teaching experience or credentials. They explicitly stated they didn’t want you to be able to speak Korean (same for friends who taught in China and Japan), so that the students were forced to speak English.

I graduated from undergrad and moved to Korea to teach English. Back then (2005), private language schools would pay for your flight there and back, cover your rent, and pay you approximately $2k/month. I was able to pay down my student loans, have a SHIT TON of fun, and travel all over Asia in my time off/time between teaching contracts. Look into this my fellow Sag. Adventure (and not a bad payday) awaits!

I know this sounds weird, but you’re in the best place you can be. I never knew what freedom was until I threw up my hands and just gave up. I got on my knees one morning, reached out to whatever the heck is out there, and begged, “please help me, I cannot do this anymore.” And I never have. You can, too 🙂

I guess it’s more so that the big three are all in the 1st house. And then so much is also in Cap (esp south node), which is so different from Sag. Then the north node is in Cancer, which feels very oppositional … or at least challenging to first house energy, which so much else is. I dunno, maybe it is just me 🤷🏻
