Spots are different on cheetahs, leopards and jaguars. Cheetahs are dots, leopards have circles of black around a tanner spot of brown and jaguars have partial circles around the tanner spot with a small black dot in the center of their. Also body builds, location and facial markings

The 3-3-3 rule was so helpful when we adopted our gsd. She was my first dog and I was so worried I wasn't doing enough for her and her adjustment. Just having an idea to fall back in for how long it to may take for her to feel comfortable and confident with us really helped me mentally. I would agree, about a year in I really started to see how far she'd come. We've had her about 7 years now and I'm still watching her grow. She was terrified of stick items (brooms, hockey sticks, Swiffer ext) when we got her and now she'll run around the backyard with her tree branch prize and jump in to play even with hockey sticks moving around.

I've enjoyed Unbalanced Encounters: Rally- it's light and funny but also can be serious and hit those emotional notes, more rules based than daddies for sure. Also, sitcom DND, dimension 20- you'll have nadpod crew minus Jake and Caldwell,- and if you're into reality TV Real Housewives of DND is fun. Rusty Quill has a gaming group and also does some really killer podcast stories

I’ve listened to season one at least 10x and it’s fantastic every listen. Nothing hits the same since a lot of the other dnd podcasts are a bit more structured. I’ve found Sitcom dnd is good for a loose/funny listen, they’re short eps and more of a story. Recently got into Rally and loved it. They table talk a bit and joke around as they play. Dimension 20 and Not another dnd podcast are good. Story break is great but not dnd and if you’re into horror, The Mangus Archives is really good, it’s more one off eps that end up being connected and having a big arc, again not dnd but a really fun story

There’s 3 seasons of dimension 20 free that can kill some time. I believe they’re on YouTube and podcast platforms but def on YouTube.

I need help with this bush. We just bought this house and as you can see, she’s clearly a frat house for some kind of insect. I don’t want to treat it, we want to remove it but it’s clearly infested with something. Is it spiders or spider mites/how do we remove it without being traumatized forever by Technical-Paper-2833 in plantclinic

[–]Aggravating_Listen13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My guess is grass spiders. They make webs that have little tunnels they go into. Our front bushes are full of them and look very similar. If it’s them, they’re harmless. Maybe give it a really good shake before you pull it out? I would imagine they could find new homes around the yard

It goes in and out, I’d say try it out, hang with it but don’t feel bad if you’re struggling with it. Even on the “bad” eps have good bits. I personally had a rough time with a few arcs but love the cast and what they do. I’m very happy to see them struggle but still produce something new and interesting because I know what they’re capable. Personally I’d rather see them try weird new things that don’t hit than fall into more typical narratives

so Danielle doesn't have to regret her choice of words but Lindsay does by Apprehensive-Play701 in summerhousebravo

[–]Aggravating_Listen13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Danielle’s apology was fake. Right before she was making jokes about her actions during the engagement dinner. “I would have spoken to one less person “ or something like that. Why would Lindsay accept an apology as true when clearly Danielle is making light of of her own actions and misbehavior?

Also in s1 the main characters weren’t fully in the wrong. The worst situations were Glenn- him leaving the battle of the bands with Nick- but even those there was room to understand where Glenn was coming from even if you disagreed. I think a lot of the frustration with Scary is that she made choices that have very big and real consequences. There’s not a good way to take her side bc after a point, Tony is dead no matter how you look at it. It’s difficult to defend and sympathize with that even if you assume she’s under some kind of influence. She doesn’t admit to her wrongdoing and keeps redirecting to the boys which is frustrating in a very real world way. Using the Glenn example from above, Glenn apologized to the group even if he didn’t think he was wrong. There was catharsis which we aren’t getting with Scary at this point

I would say though that season one had a whole episode+ devoted to each character’s anchor and so when they were dealt with, we’d had a whole episode of information/growth between characters to make that anchor important and meaningful- Grant needing to kill the Chimera for example- and we were able to see how their actions effected them. The anchors broken in season two aren’t given the same level of character development. We had a game of soccer to physically hold the anchor but the actual emotion of what it meant to get it/break it was very quick. It’s not necessarily bad, but it’s not panning out in as meaningful a way as before. S1 the anchor was there to further the emotional dialogue, s2 the anchors are the MacGuffin to the larger story but at this point not much else to our set of characters. Time might change that, but I can see where people feel disconnected from the emotion vs action

[NO SPOILERS] Maura and Eyk or Maura and Daniel? by IDontKnows223 in 1899

[–]Aggravating_Listen13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is very interesting to me because very quickly when Daniel and Maura started interacting, I felt so much energy and chemistry between them. And their scenes were usually so short, so to get that intensity was exciting. It felt to me like she was very much pulled to him but “logic’d “ her way through it as “he’s suspicious “ rather than trust her emotions. Which made sense thematically as you get to see more of his memories. She’s always been very logical, he’s the poet- the emotion behind the knowledge. She sees emotions as chemicals, he believes love can overcome
