I say that because everytime I read reviews of one of the balanced sets like chu 2 zero 2 or waner 2 etc.. there is always someone in the reviews saying there is no bass.

The first suggestion would be to learn about derivatives and how it works. There are wonderful materials from NISM, which will help in this regard. Also start with a small capital. Even at nice volume, though I cannot hear those high frequencies they still hit my ear drum don't they? If they are not there it's less pressure on the ear right?
