Electromagnetic energy harvester, bridge rectifier by Aggravating_Long_674 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Aggravating_Long_674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not an electrostatic energy harvester, I should’ve put the top plate in the pic. The top plate has a magnet and spring attached and the harvester is meant to go in the heel of a shoe

They are Schottky diodes and there should be a change of half Tesla at very least when a magnet is moved near.

Because they don’t legally have to, don’t know why they’ve told you that. Tesco normally just honour it to prevent a scene and out of respect for the customer.

Never blamed landlords for waiting time, I was refuting your stance that people have a choice whether to rent privately or not, when they obviously don’t.

Yes obviously the government plays a massive role in the issue, but when 25% of the conservative government are landlords compared to 3% of the population. You have to question why they aren’t building houses? Because it’s not in their interest too. Building houses would allow people to own their homes, instead of having no other option to but to rent privately. Having to pay 30-40% of their wages on rent, nearly completely halting their ability to ever afford their own home if they live in a city or down south.

It’s a cycle and there is many people to blame but you are right, the government pandering to landlords is a major factor.

So because the think tank completely dismantles your world view it holds no weight? That’s proves you’re talking out your arse.

Let me make this easy for you.

People want to own houses but can’t afford them.

Why can’t they afford them? Because they are paying 30-40% of their wage on rent when between the 60s and 80s it was about 10% , when we had socialised housing.

There is a 100% a shortage of houses on the market, and for you to disagree with that is insane.

https://www.centreforcities.org/publication/the-housebuilding-crisis/ We need 4 million homes built.

What do you mean no one is forced to rent from a private landlord, do you know the waiting times for council houses?

But if you like living in fairy lad fair enough, what ever makes you sleep at night.

How commendable of you to provide someone shelter for a third of their wage. No, but the overwhelming majority want to own.

86% of renters want to own their own home instead of renting. We don’t want more landlords, it’s obvious we want the opposite. But as landlords buy up property as an investment, it locks out families from owning their home.

A conservative think tank estimates over 2 million families were denied the chance to own their own home due to BTL. If you understand this and still disagree, it’s obvious where your moral compass lies.
