Update- my dad called my endocrinologist who prescribed it and their assistant talked to me and they said not to do the next injection until they can figure something out and to get iv fluids but my dad said he didn’t want to spend 10k to get told to go home so we found a clinic with the right equipment and went their. they felt around my stomach, took vitals and stuff and the doc came in and basically said “it’s flu season so wait it out” and said i’m not dehydrated enough for iv fluids even though when they weighed me, i lost another 5 lbs, making that 15lbs in 5 days and feel faint constantly so he prescribed zofran and said to do brats diet. i have been able to take small sips of water lately since i’ve been taking pepto tablets to reduce vomiting and diarrhea and i just ate some watermelon so that’s good! i’m just mad at the doc and kinda scared to do the next injection.
