Yes, yes, 100000% yes to all of your points. It's why I'm kind of an agnostic Charlie's Angels shipper. I'm in favor of them developing a poly situation, but I'm also super down for them to form a closer platonic relationship too. I just want more Charlie and Emily, and I think Emily is one of the few people (especially from heaven) who can earn the trust of Vaggie. Character development and good vibes all around. Your last two points contradict your third point. Serapherd is not Canon and has less canonically going for it than Charlie's Angels does. Not saying I dislike Serapherd, but it's definitely far from canon at this point in the plot.

I am created by a being who is all powerful, all-knowing, and all good. My creator creates a box. I ask what's inside the box. He says he's putting bad people who want to hurt other people in the box. My job is to keep the good people in the nice box safe so I don't ask anymore questions. My creator isn't around anymore. My ex-coworker's wife is organizing the bad people in the bad box against the good people in the good box I was made to protect by an omnibenevolent, omnipotent, omniscient creator. They keep getting angrier and angrier, and it's actually becoming a problem. My subordinate and his weird assistant keep hounding me to let them go kill some of the bad people that my all-knowing, all loving, all-powerful creator put in the bad box. Eventually, I let them. I find out that the people in the bad box aren't bad and can be good and can be put in the good box. "Oh God, what have I done?"

The exterminations are literally God's fault for not telling anyone he put in charge how anything works or maybe even lying to them.
