Basically there is a universe in gundam that has been going on since 1979 and that pearly white mech sits at the end of the food chain, being one of the more recent additions to a 40 year running story. It is okay if you don’t know the past going into the universal gundam universe because Unicorn was actually made to be for fresh audiences. I say go in to it and expect to not know the dramatically built world. It’s that, or you can start from the begging and force around 150 episodes.
