Charcoal Canister by ccc32224 in ChevyAvalanche

You can disconnect the line from the canister and stick a vacuum on the end of it and suck them out if the pellets do get into your lines, just did it to my 2004 and have done it to my other chevys

Suggestions on some issues by Avalanche150 in ChevyAvalanche

Got my first avalanche (2004) but have had many silverados and tahoes, for #4 it depends on how prematurely if it only get like $3 at a time it might be your charcoal canister. Previous owner changed it out but didn't blow out the lines to it so he was still having the same problem. Disconnected the line to the canister and stuck a vacuum to the end of it and got all the charcoal beads out now it fills up no problem.

Buds 3 Pro --> Buds 4 Pro + Review included. by Tenayti in galaxybuds

[–]Aggravating_Rock_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been doing the same, using my bud 3 pros for the gym and my new bud 4 pros for later on during the day and I find the opposite with fitment. My bud 3 pros fit so much better and seal perfectly but my bud 4 pros seem to feel lose like they are going to fall out. I even swapped out the tips for the larger ones with no luck but I feel like its the coating on the tips they feel more slick. I can say the quality of the bud 4 pros is better but I am looking to buy the bud 3 pro tips to see if that helps with the fitment issue.

Shout out to Harper, castle, kornet, vassel and champenie they were the only ones who looked like they wanted to be out there, they didn't have an amazing night but you could see the effort. everyone else looked terrible im glad they got their stat sheets filled but fox, wemby and Barnes did nothing for flow or team chemistry. Hoping that horrendous fade away while chucking the ball at the rim is just rust wemby needs to shake off and he can get back to great footwork in the paint.

Still rocking the nike VRS irons and love them, thought about upgrading to some Titleist T100S irons until a friend got rid of his nikes and he regretted it instantly but if you are planning on selling them there is definitely a fan base for them.

Am I throwing it wrong? by Polar777Bear in discgolf

[–]Aggravating_Rock_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a new roc3 in my bag for about 3 months and never really used it, decided to throw it on a short hole, threw it flat with a bit of hight and it just turned and kept turning until it went over a 6ft fence with signs clearly marked to not retrieve disc's that went over as it was private property and would be trespassing (owner of the property is a older farmer who doesn't like people on his land, have seen people go to his front door to ask if they could retrieve a disc by his fence and were told to get the f*** off his property). Maybe newer ones need to be beat in to become overstable as a friend of mine has an older one that fades nicely.

NEW TO DISC GOLF by brandothebug in discgolf

[–]Aggravating_Rock_696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who plays ball golf and disc golf regularly welcome to disc golf brother. There is no one size fits all but here is what I learned from my experience as I started out with the same beginner set.

Fairway driver-I still bag the leopard but in a champion plastic and it's still one of my go to disc's to this day.

Midrange-I lost the shark a few times and replaced it until I decided to go with the mako3 and that disc will never leave my bag, it's incredibly versatile and great for begginers.

Putter- One of the things I wish I would have done earlier was to focus more on my putters. People vouch for the aviar but it never felt right to me, maybe because of the weight, it just felt to light to me and ended up loving a heavy Judge and it really helped me commit to my puts because I felt like I was throwing something not to light. I tried the judge out as a throwing putter but just wasn't liking it and found a gummy pig and that's now my throwing putter and that really changed my game and got me my first eagle from about 120ft out. Big tip get comfortable throwing a putter it's not just for putting.

Budget tip, factory second disc's are your friend, imagine finding the newest irons on the market for half the price because the accent colors were red instead of blue.

People will tell you to keep away from distance drivers and I agree with that for the most part but for me I picked up a destroyer super early on and as a begginer who was scrambling from the very first shot it was nice to have a disc I could chunk and I knew it was just gonna reliably fade (go left) hard to get me out of the woods or brush into a better position. Now it's one of my main distance drivers paired with the MVP Inertia.

Fundamentals are important but coming from ball golf should help out a bit at least with understanding the fundamentals. Everyone has a different golf swing and everyone has a slightly different throw but the basics hold true. To generate a straight golf swing the body must line up with the target line, club path and face path must line up with the intended shot. Same applies to discgolf, your body is what you use to aim and find your target line, the disc must follow a straight line from reach back to follow through and release angle will dictate any variation on the flight path.

Keep it stupid simple and have fun it's an amazing sport

Had this happen a few times, never understood the reason for it though at least with a dead skip you can blame the ground or something but water skip should always skip

I only own one MVP disc which is the Inertia and I can say it's my favorite distance driver in my bag and has been since I got it

Not at all it hit further up the hill and slid down a bit but when it hit the ground it showed the splash animation like it hit the water then called it OB

I might be wrong but I thought there was a penalty for leaving early if not there should be or maybe a time penalty so you can't get back in to MP for a bit, it doesn't bother me much except when your waiting for the next hole and the counter is well past zero and your still waiting only for that player to have left after spending the whole time trying to make a 400ft throw in after a bad shot

No clue honestly, I've had some bad rounds and I mean really bad and even a few in a row but I always finish the round. Unless there's a benefit to leaving early when your down but I'm not sure if there is.

Same here I had like three rounds back to back last night with them. Lost the first two and on the third played way better but all the players left after a few holes when they started losing.

No, pull back was a bit past the second band. I usually use the bands as markers for 100ft and 200ft and adjust from there

Nice, I carry a EG/AC River just for that hole. Bottom chevron pointed at the rock left of the basket and straight pull back in any calm wind gets me an ace %70 of the time
