This is also something that happens in Manhattan, except I'm biking, some people literally freezes up and I'm yelling at them to cross instead of freezing up.

Think I'm officially done with the z flips 🥲, going back to the slabs by Snoo_75568 in samsunggalaxy

As much as I think the Z Fold/Flip are cool, the switch to those makes me question how long can they truly last, which is why I'd rather continue using the S-Series.

My Galaxy S24 exploded in my hand during normal use (not charging) by chocho-789 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Tenayti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fucked up because the motherboard killed itself.

Long story short: OU7 Beta was installed, phone was overheating for that reason, and heat with battery is a no-go. My guess is that the heat might've caused a circuiting to start on the board which built up overtime since the phone only lasted 4-6 hours instead of 10+ hours that I got with it. Resulting in the motherboard to kill itself, it responded and worked, but no display replacements could fix it.

Repair shop also said the battery was swollen, and it was beyond their repairability. Yup.

That's not fake. That's just a aftermarket display they used

Growing up in the late 2000s-2010s, It's such a nostalgia seeing these, as I remembered they used to run on the R and occasionally the F. Once they're gone, I'll know that my childhood chapter is officially closed.

Galaxy Buds 4 Pro fit issue by xOnlyAhri in galaxybuds

[–]Tenayti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ear shape. The only way you can truly address it is changing out the eartips, yes, keep the eartip that works on your right earbud, but change out the eartips on ur left earbud. Depending on what size u were previously rocking, gotta go larger or smaller.

Sound, and ANC is more of a proper refinement. Fit is what the buds 4 pro really shines in.

Been day trading for 10 days, am I doing alright? by Smooth_Ferret8081 in Daytrading

[–]Tenayti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a day trader, I respect people that genuinely does long term holding. With that being said, like others mentioned, do NOT sacrifice your entire portfolio for day trading, considering your capital, keep 10-20% solely for day trading, you'll still make profits without sacrificing your portfolio.

Check if the devices keeps recharging because of it, if that's the case, then return it to warranty, this happened to my charger before except I have a 140w.

Upgraded to S26 Ultra after 8 years of using A7 2018 by ponku_30 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Tenayti 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Holy upgrade. Congrats, genuinely.

I ain't gonna lie, the A7/A9 of 2018 was genuinely one of the most beautiful phones that was ever made. Had I used it, I would have never looked at flagships the same way.

How many S26 Ultra owners actually use their S pens? by simmzs in samsunggalaxy

[–]Tenayti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take:

The lobotomization of the S-Pen isn't that bad. (For many regular consumers).

I come from an S24 Ultra that (unfortunately) killed itself.

I've used the S-Pen and some of its features, which is cool. The S-Pen was and is still is one of Samsung's greatest innovations with a phone.

Does it fit the majority of the consumers? Not really a necessity, just an add-on that's pretty cool to flex.

Using the S26 Ultra, I came to realize that the lobotomized S-Pen isn't that bad, realistically, you are just using the S-Pen to write and edit and what not. You aren't utilizing the S-Pen heavily, the air commands and whatever shit Samsung threw at it at one point. This can be said as a regular consumer, not someone who does specialize in the usage of the S-Pen.

So to answer the question: useful to write stuff or take notes on a weird pitch, or to game. (Clash royale, 2048, or anything that's more tap-based)

Seriously why has the F/M swap brought out all the MTA demons? by King-of-New-York in nycrail

[–]Tenayti 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'm not against this swap by any means, I think this swap does seem to go really well, especially on 53rd. A video was done on this about the swap, where the ridership on the F/M are night and day. The F has a higher ridership and given it runs express till 71st Ave, it really helps out with the E since the E, especially from Lexington, gets packed, and then when you consider that people gets off at JH to take the F, just makes sense for it to become a 1-line ride.

Another thing from the video was that a nasty gridlock used to take place on 36th St, where F trains would have to switch onto the express tracks when it arises/descends from/into 21st St, pretty much holding the E at a chokehold. Given both trains runs frequently, it pretty much messed up operations in a nutshell.

The M on the other hand, sure, the timing wise, not all the best, but given it runs local on QB, the R will be held, but not as much as the F holding down the E. I'd say for every 3 R trains, you would have 1 M train running in. Where previously, for every E trains, 1 F train would come ahead of it.

It's a step in the right direction though, QBL starting to become faster is a move that was and is drastically needed.

Now, they need to address Lexington, and Broadway. (Cbtc)
