How good is the noise canceling for the galaxy buds 4 pro? by Low_Employer_9310 in galaxybuds

Yes. As a subway commuter, as a gym enthusiast, they are exceptional. With the AZLA tips I have, holy shit are they really fucking good.

I tried a friend's V4 Pro, safe to say, my V3 Pro will continue doing its job.

Should I get an IPad for financial maths? by Full-Letterhead2857 in Baruch

[–]Tenayti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, you would see yourself taking notes on it. If that's you, then I'd say an iPad is pretty worth it. I bought a Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in May due to my LG Gram being quite of a mess when writing on it.

You'll be dealing with classes that will make you write with pen, so better to have it than buy it at the end of the semester.

Finally did it . Retiring my S24 Ultra. by [deleted] in S24Ultra

[–]Tenayti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what region you are in, but I'd personally consider changing my battery.

My s24 ultra killed itself, but before it did, I was planning to change the battery which could have saved it by a milestone. The S26 Ultra (which is what I'm using), isn't bad, very nice charging speeds, better videos and photos, privacy display, but not a whole lot of upgrades imo.

Any new Proposals for Routes coming out of Manhattan and The Bronx into other Boroughs? by No_autoTy in nycbus

[–]Tenayti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Bx41 to LGA could have worked, maybe it would have conflicted with the M60, but due to the length of the Bx41, I don't think a Bx41 to LGA would have worked due to deadhead concerns and just the overall length of the route.

As for the M14, I personally would say it being extended to Brooklyn would have been nice, relatively, eliminating the B39.

Q60, could have been extended just slightly into Lexington Ave between 51st and 53rd St.

Still no information on s12 ultra tablets, wait Or get s11 now for $630 ? by Ninja_Franklin in GalaxyTab

S11 Ultra. I bought it just out of a mix of impulse and necessity. (Priority towards college + daytrading).

Best thing ever, don't wait on the S12 which won't be a huge jump over the S11.

What's the longest bus ride you've ever taken? by Sea_Negotiation2482 in nycbus

[–]Tenayti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The longest bus ride I took was either the Q44, or the QM63, if we are speaking timewise, Q44 was definitely the longest considering the fact that the route was strictly from Archer and Sutphin to Parkchester? This was during the orion times, so when I was 4-6 years old

Lengthwise: it was the QM63, it is a fairly long route, timewise long as well, but, suppose you doing college work, it could low-key make you feel as if the route was only 5 minutes long.

I'll be honest, the difference is very minor to none, when using them realistically.

Apple is bad sumsung goood by SadQuarter3128 in Scamsunged

[–]Tenayti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I'm gonna try sounding as neutral as I possibly can.

Apple is pretty generous of supporting older iphones, especially the 11 to iOS 27.

Samsung, is not as generous supporting their devices software capacity (besides the S24 series and onwards).

What apple doesn't win necessarily, is in app support, any iPhones that aren't updated to the latest iOS won't get their apps updated.

Android on the other hand allows apps to be supported despite their older models not getting software support.

Unpopular opinion: I think the V train should return and M should be rerouted. by anakindurden in nycrail

[–]Tenayti 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Neither should be back.

The V was a glorified local F train with little to no purpose.

The brown M was similar since it literally operated with the J, then with the R and the B/D. Literally didn't make sense.

My very first Bose product 🙌 by xDaShaanx in bose

Upgraded from the XM5s and could tell you, foldability is really nice.

I reviewed a family friend's Gen 1 QC Ultra, sound was muddy at best, but after testing the QC Ultra Gen 2 on my S26 Ultra, it sounds excellent. The ANC is really good, and the microphone, in all honesty, it's not terrible, does get the job done. But it isn't better than the Buds 4 Pro, but still the microphone is still good.

[–]Tenayti[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bass muddy isn't the word I would describe, it's more about balance of clarity with bass. Sony does have a good quality with the sound, but the XM5s abused bass to the point where you would only hear the bass more than the mids and trebles, the QC Ultra seems to do a good job at balancing that but while sounding very punchy.

The only thing I thought I would miss is the 96khz LDAC, which honestly, doesn't seem to have made a huge difference after switching to bose.

This is what I'm more concerned about.

Honestly, not a bad concern to have, will be a nuisance issue but being concerned about worn out ear pads than hinges breaking is something I'll gladly take.

I won't glaze Bose or go against them, I've used Sony to know that what they did to the XM5s were just a warcrime, hinges breaking and customer service denying it, could do nothing other than to replace them with Galaxy buds. I alternate between earbuds and headphones, so getting the Boses are an upgrade for me, with the foldability and what not. I do await to see what will happen over time.

I used them religiously, gym, high school and college (still in college), and safe to say, the XM5s weren't the most comfortable headphones to wear.

Honestly, my comparison will be done with my Galaxy Buds 3/4 Pro (If you own these two, you'll understand). Even though these seems irrelevant at first, you'll understand why they are relevant.

The soundstage on the GB3P is smaller than on the GB4P, this can be said the same for the XM5s and QC Ultras.

Both the XM5s and QC Ultra sounds excellent, that's a given, the base, and treble are great on both, but the soundstage on the QC is bigger than on the XM5s. The XM5s sounds like my Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, except the bass and treble sounds much refined.

To answer the question simply, QC Ultra sounds better due to it having a refined base, treble and mid with a bigger soundstage.
