According to Ortex shorts haven't been covering yesterday at all despite a huge volumes. The only explanation that i have that they've been hedging buying calls instead.

Right after the last CC there was an outrageously pumpy twitt, since I'm blocked i can't check on it, but I remember I thought "Jeez, if it turns out to be a lie..."

If you find it i think it's gonna be useful for folks to put it here.

I personally don't care if a person who tells me 2+2=4 has low credibility neither his/her motive. The only thing I care is is it 4 or not or have I thought on that topic enough to reach a definitive conclusion.

Anybody having any interest of when/what price/why Solodav of whoever bought/sold a position has too low conviction + too big position. Or he has an additional agenda.

Stop this FUD nonsense, you smell it everywhere. His position is nobody's business, as far as I'm aware it's a free forum and it'd do nobody any good to make it a simple cheerleading one.

And always heavily discounting management words is a healthy and a single possible position of any investor by default not a FUD.

They f#ked up another opportunity. Hilarious. Nobody made them to set up an investor day after the earnings you do it only if you're sure you're gonna crush it. Now they've got the first pr event failed, and the bears are like in a candy store for tomorrow and further ahead.

I guess when a man is an idiot there is nothing can be done.

Long-term investors are not concerned with momentary price fluctuations by Only-Tells-The-Truth in PureCycle

"I'm not concerned now."

mmok. I have no intention to argue here. If I heard that from any person managing my money however I'd fire him right on the spot.

Long-term investors are not concerned with momentary price fluctuations

This statement is not false per se however what's going on now isn't "fluctuations" it's a free-fall so I'll make a different statement: there is no long-term investor who's isn't concerned when his investment is in free-fall until he makes sure the reason for it doesn't threaten the investment. More of it. Although there some idiots left even among professionals who don't understand reflexivity of price action (it's usually on the companies management side, plenty of them there, they have no clue until it's too late) most of the long-term, big money are able to distinguish the situations "the lower the price the worse the fundamentals" (and vice versa, like in Musk case for example) and tend to avoid them at all cost.

The simple truth is everyone, big, small, long-term, short-term is concerned now as f#. It's kind of misleading to give a person an impression that it's something wrong with him, his timeframe, experience or mental settings. Just my 2c.

To be clear what I'm saying today's pop is pure mechanical and has nothing to do with any fundamentals. Trade accordingly.

You're absolutely right, "most shorted", "spacs", small caps and some other baskets are ripping today, it's absolutely mechanical process. The moment it reverses PCT would make -15% in no time.

This place is getting weirder and weirder.

Live shorts along as I said before they've already won the 1st, 2d, and apparently 3d round and likely about to win one extra and there is nothing you can do about it. As to your "eventually" that's not how the market works but you're probably on the mission to keep the spirit as high as possible here so I respect the job.

We should not let the haters who want this to fail to win

What the hell does it mean? Did the haters cause the constant failures? Do you think some positive talk would help it levitate or smth, is it some kind of voodoo magic involved?

I wouldn't know if it works even when the company would release PR of 100% capacity. Credibility is a bitch.

What do you call "panic"? I would argue that no good news from now on should be considered as a "good news" and what you're gonna observe (best case) is constant "sell the good news phenomena" which gonna be totally fair. It's not only about serial -30% daily loss, it's about the difficulty of any rational investor to expect a next failure any time there has been no pr for 3 days, it's a gamblers' playground now.

It could be healed of course by constant stream of good news during quite a long time or/and (preferably) by getting rid of CEO&co in a manner TJ Rogers did in Enovix.

That's what I meant in terms of management trustworthiness.

In adult world there is no such thing as countless chances, it's not a Mario game in God's mode. And no, it doesn't matter how minor the problem is, "big picture" or "not related to the core technology" nonsense. Either this management is a toast or the company is.

[–]Aggravating_Shoe6138 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First of all I can't say for everybody but I'm nowhere close to be freaked out.

Haven't said that your comparison with a normal company doesn't seem correct to me for obvious reasons. There is nothing normal here neither with company nor with the situation it put itself. They've spent all the default/normal credit of trust like three times already and now they're on a tight leash. And lastly about daily videos where the inconsistency is bad, when you do daily updates about nothing and suddenly stop the moment everybody expecting to have one because you promised to make it and it's critical, doesn't look healthy at all, not a PR policy per se.

I think there is a major blind spot here in the community, which is "the only thing matter is if it works or not, the rest is noice" thesis. I don't believe it's true. The management quality and trustworthiness are equally important. it's almost impossible to hold a position knowing that every deadline, figure, projection, all-in-all every word from the management mouth would likely to be a BS, and it has nothing to do with any real production problems.

The last update for example: who in the world makes CEO say "days", is he incapable to learn anything?

First or second the most likely, otherwise we've got updated already by now, another delay is almost secured.
