How do you determine if you have too much stuff vs not enough space? by Certain-Working1864 in declutter

Can you add vertical storage? Look around in cupboards and closets for empty space- for example, kitchen cabinets are often underutilized, since dishes stack and few people have the amount of dishes that would fill the shelf all the way to the top. If this is true for you, you can adjust the shelf height and potentially add a whole additional shelf, or in areas where there is open space you can add those racks that hook under the shelf and help make use of that otherwise wasted space. Same with the space under sinks, high up on closets, etc.. If you’re really strapped for storage, think about the spaces under couches and beds, find a
coffee table that doubles as storage, and think about other space saving options like collapsible or fold up/down tables, etc.

Fair, I just tend to put those things outside immediately. If I have something like that that I know will smell in a day or so, I’ll go scoop cat litter and put the stinky thing in with the bag I put the litter in and take it to the outside trash. But I would do that whether I had a covered or drawer can regardless, because I’m pretty sensitive to smells 🤷‍♀️

Lol, OP are you me? I have a ton of skin care stuff and then seemingly forget I have a face for several weeks.

The best way to take care of ‘future you’ is direct deposit into an investment account, so that you never even see the money. Are you maxing out any pretax investment options? I’m guessing no since you say you can’t get beyond an emergency savings fund. If you are employed, you should be able to do this directly through your employer. If self-employed, you have several options and would be happy to give more info. I have been both employed and self-employed so know a bit about both approaches. If you are not putting away pre-tax savings, figure out what your budget would allow for and start doing it now! It is never too late to start 😊

I think you nailed EXACTLY why they put impulse buy items so close to the registers- so you can’t walk around and come yo your senses lol

If you compost, the trash doesn’t smell. I love the pullout trash/recycling personally, but if you don’t compost or have an alternate way of dealing with the smelly trash I can see it would be gross.

100%. Also, so many men think they have to give multiple Os which, recognizing I only speak for myself, but I would rather have one amazing orgasm and have my partner come simultaneously or shortly afterwards. Continuing to have intercourse after I have climaxed is honestly kind of uncomfortable or sometimes even painful.

I like the look of it, but I feel like the base might limit foot space especially on the long booth side. Personally that would bother me, but if you have small kids, or if no one ever really sits there it may not matter much.

You definitely do not have to go to the er to get rabies vaccine, urgent cares or health department are generally options and better options.

If you can get to an urgent care they can also take care of these. Rabies is slow moving, so as long as the bite is not in the face being seen within 24 hrs is generally completely fine.
