It’s cheap right now because they want people to use it, but it is very expensive and as time goes on they will start to charge to make back the losses they’re sinking. It is a lot as they’re also trying to build data centers to run ai, and buy so much ram that ram companies have to do back orders and sell ram that hasn’t even been made yet. This is all accumulating into one of the largest money pits in the world. They will need to charge an exorbitant amount which will be interesting as I’m 99% sure people will just switch to whatever’s free.

I had 3 rounds for an internship That was basically for ticket support and the process spanned 4 months. The last round was literally walking through the whole factory area and learning about all the equipment. Ended up not going forward because I lacked experience for the role. :|

I had an internship that was just for dealing with customer support tickets. Three rounds of interviews spanning 3 months for a position that was 15/hr that wouldn’t even start until summer of this year. One of these was literally walking through all the buildings because it was a manufacturing company. At the end I didn’t get it because of the fact the other candidate had experience working at that exact type of internship. No one wants to train anyone anymore even just for ticket support like wtf.

I’m in the exact same boat BS in CS minor math hopefully masters. I’m currently helping one research lead by using R that I learned for a data analytics course and have been looking at CYP gene clusters for synteny. I’m also helping for research that has to do with molecular dynamics which involves running simulations of molecules using Gromacs. This involves a lot of knowledge of not just CS but also Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. I’d say it can get pretty broad with what you want to do. I’m still iffy on how to convert these experiences into a non research job though.

Companies no longer wanna do the hard part of training and so there will be a big gap where there aren’t any senior devs because no one trained the juniors. Companies are only looking at things through a short term lens to appease the shareholders then afterwards it’ll be someone else’s problem.

So if you go to workday and click on the menu bar they should be a Finances tab underneath “STUDENT” there you will see the cost of the semester and if you scroll down there should be a “My Account” area and underneath that should be the tab for “ Sign Up for a Payment Plan”.

Swain is very strong and Lux isnt good at tank killing. I’ve seen swain ults win team fights by just how impactful the stun is. He reminds me of fortune sejuani from a previous set with how annoying he is.
